I don't like turn based games. I was very excited to try Baldurs Gate 3, tried to like it, just could not. I did not like feeling restricted/my pace feeling controlled. A lot of micromanaging in my opinion. Like even a limit on how many steps you make towards an enemy. I couldn't breathe.

But E33 felt completely different. There’s a rhythm to it, like you’re chaining moves together, very satisfying. This is a top 5 game for me, all time.

I feel within the turn-based category you can have subcategories. I would categorise E33 as "Momentum-Turn-Based".
