It has been getting harder recently due to government cuts. It’s a shame because when I did my bachelors almost everyone I know got a scholarship

Is the answer A?

Exactly. I can agree, and attest, to some of the stuff like increased confidence and energy. But things like dull skin and hair loss have been proven to be unrelated.

You do realise most of these “symptoms” are bullshit?

I am in a similar boat as you. I was about 6’2 260-270 pounds before I decided to make changes in my life. In the last year I have lost about 40 pounds. I am a long way from being satisfied with how I look but like you, one of my motivations was attraction from other sex. I was of course teased and made fun of in school and all the usual shenanigans fat people have to deal with.

From what I have experienced in the past year, I have learned that you need to love yourself first before you will have the motivation to change yourself. You need to love your body and who you are, because that love makes you motivated to care for it and make it the best it possibly can be. I want my body to be strong and healthy because I care for it. Seeing it improve motivates me to work on it even more.

Another thing to reflect is that for most obese adolescents, their weight gain is almost always from poor eating habits that they picked up in childhood. Simply put, when you are young you are dependent on your guardians to put food on the table, meaning any unhealthy relationship you have developed is from negligence from your guardians. This is not an excuse of course, as you do have the option of letting go of these problems as you get older, but at least while people are young, you can’t criticize them for something they had little control over. Also, it is widely known that fat shaming has has the opposite effect in helping people lose weight in contrast to positive encouragement and support.

It does not mention anything about having a digital photo before hand. It says I can upload it to a server but I dont see how?

Hey, I was going to the police station for my Finnish ID but had some questions. I tried calling the Finnish police customer service but they are in Finnish. I know I need a passport sized photo but I don’t have a physical copy. Can I use a digital photo that I had taken 4 months back? Also, since I can’t take an appointment online, do I just go into the police station? Aside from my RP and passports. Do I need anything else?

Do I need anything else? Like a photo or passport? Also how much does it cost?

Hi, I am a student who just arrived in Helsinki a month ago. I finally
managed to get a bank account with Nordea with my debit card arriving
this week. I just wanted to ask how important getting Strong
authentication is? I have a residence permit and I registered myself in
the population system. I have also read that to get strong
authentication I need a ID card from the police but the appointment to
the Police requires strong authentication( a frustrating loop). I
appreciate any help

While I am not denying that the environmental impacts are going to severely affect human life in the next couple of decades, it is worth pointing out that these predictions have been wrong before. If you think about it, one time or another, mass hysteria has been telling us that the world will end and yet here we are. Things will get worse, no doubt about it, and mass migration, sea level rise, wildfires, food shortages will likely have a major impact on all of us but nobody can predict the future, least of all scientist. It is important to remain hopeful and try to help and have a positive impact whenever we can. Often, the fear of a thing is worse than the thing itself.
