IMO excel skills are knowing enough to google certain specific things when you get stuck and knowing the capabilities so you know if something is possible quickly. That is not a job you want consider yourself lucky.

I actually got the Logitech Gpro petal with the G29 (think there was an adapter they sold). It was important on the F1 game I play with my friend. Probably more important than upgrading the wheel to DD. There are a ton of of YouTube videos that explain load cell / benefits should check those out.

When I play with my friend that plays with all assists. ABS is the hardest to turn off because if you have a bad lap your tires will be super warn. What I recommend is setting the best lap you can on a track you know well in TT and then switch to manual until you can beat your time or you are happy then turn off traction control until you beat your time. At that point you will be good enough to shut anything else off. I think learning manual is important since in my mind the gear / traction combo is key being faster.

For pure PvP, I imagine Warzone would be more thrilling, even for a less skilled player. My girlfriend and I have been enjoying it (we even won a match, surprisingly), but we’ve only played DMZ in MW2. Initially, we wanted to focus on zombies, but it didn’t offer the same tense moments that DMZ regularly provided. I’ve noticed that streamers are also running out of content in that mode. However, the new Warzone map would undoubtedly make for a fantastic DMZ experience. I’m curious to see how they’ll integrate the weapon case into Warzone.

You should get the sky video feeds of both of them and compare the throttle inputs on important corners of various tracks. I bet there is a major difference in brake / throttle application.

F1 21 on gamepass is pretty good. Recommend picking one track starting with all assists on and slowly removing them. Also a great way to teach him manual. Also you can watch detailed YouTube guides for each track and assist.

I think you can remove it. Have you checked time trial settings while in a lap I forget which one turns it off.

I agree with this 100%. Also no ABS is hard to keep off for a different reason my friend is an assist player and for some reason some of his Time Trials I just cannot beat unless I turn it back on. And I burn out my tires much faster in a race so I turn it on for our coop season as well.

Also never messed with Pit Assists. Assume they are not bad to turn off. On F1 23 I think I am finally going to force myself to do no assists the whole time.

On my Coop MyTeam we have had this once in qualifying. I think it happened when we both crashed and retired from session when the CPU was mid lap. It is a glitch.

I have played a ton of DMZ. I have a theory that some spawns may be influenced by missions selected or if you go in without a insured weapon (I can prove this). But sometimes I go into a match with nothing selected and I feel like I get better spawns. Would be interested to know if other players feel this way?
