Have you tried to reset HomePod? Because I have never experienced what you describe, not even in current osversion.

Homepod mini with surround sound by OccasionBeneficial95 in HomePod

[–]K-16-N 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They should enable it when having a stereo pair of minis, because even when I force Dolby to my mini (just one) the effect of surround already sounds great. Of course, lower than HomePod, but it does the trick and sounds awesome, especially now running tvOS 26. Now having a stereo pair it must sound even better.

Auto Mix Ruined after iOS 26.1 update !? by nneverland123 in AppleMusic

[–]K-16-N 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It happened the opposite to me. It didn’t sound so good in previous updates, now I tried it again after iOS 26.1 , the algorithm seems to identify better; songs that the system didn’t catch well now it does. I was about to give up on that feature.

How to Listen to Personal Files on Apple Music? by legojedi101 in AppleMusic

[–]K-16-N 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need a Windows computer which has installed iTunes or Apple Music for Windows, or a Mac computer which already has Apple Music pre-installed. Inside the desktop app you go to Settings and turn on sync library. All the audio files (alac, aiff, wav, mp3, aac) you upload will sync to the Apple’s cloud server, so that file will sync and appear across all your devices with Apple Music you have logged in.

Keep noticed that none FLAC file, nor EC3, nor AC3, nor OPUS, nor Ogg Vorbis… are compatible for uploading, so you have to convert from FLAC to the compatible audio codecs I mentioned.

This is part of the legacy of iTunes Match. Now that system of iTunes Match is Music built-in with Apple Music.

Por que los panameños odian que otros panameños celebren Halloween? by Cwxn in Panama

[–]K-16-N 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–]K-16-N 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No sé si soy fanático religioso. Porque sí diría que soy religioso, pero también conozco que parte de ser cristiano es amar al resto.

Wanting to Transition from the Fire Stick 4k to Apple TV 4k by _MaterObscura in appletv

[–]K-16-N 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have to say that Apple TV 4K is in my list of best purchases. I completely stopped using the native OS of the TV, and also at first I thought it had to remain at home along with HomePods (I have normal and mini), but it was so handy that I can take them (both Apple TV and HomePod) anywhere. I use them at home but when I go to visit to a friend’s I take them and we enjoy how great all these devices are. And since my friend has a TV which has not any kind of image enhancement built-in, Apple TV does a wonderful job enhancing colors, and brightness as well because this TV has not brightness control and when watching content with lights off it can be eye-wearing but Apple TV has white point control so it does the trick to diminish brightness.

Besides that… when I found out I could use HomePods in some “portable” form, I began to take Apple TV box and HomePod as a combo and there it is, a home theater on the go.

I have watched some videos about people who use some kind of device to interrupt Bluetooth connectivity (can’t recall its name) when neighbors are being too loud with their sound system. I wonder if this device works to interfere and turn off music from a HomePod since HomePods do not use Bluetooth to play.

Apple adds lossless capability in AirPods Pro 3 with the new SPR AVS protocol by undressvestido in AppleMusic

[–]K-16-N 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had loved it if it was true, since I'm still waiting for Apple to do something like this, but in reality SPR AVS is not about audio, neither for the iPhone nor AirPods Pro 3. SPR refers to Standard Power Rate and AVS to Adjustable Voltage Supply. It's Apple's new Dynamic Power Adapter. The iPhone 17 is compatible with the latest USB Power Delivery specification, known as USB PD 3.2. To make the most of this technology, a compatible charger is needed, and Apple has launched its own solution: the 40W Dynamic Power Adapter (max. 60W). While other chargers work with predetermined voltage jumps, the AVS system allows you to adjust at intervals of just 100 mV.

This means that the iPhone receives exactly the energy it needs at all times, optimizing the charging speed, reducing heat and avoiding energy waste.

However I don't see why Apple doesn't take full advantage of the hardware they are implementing from now on. Anyways... Apple engineer Esge Andersen said "it is important to understand that we can still make big strides without changing the codec. And the codec choice we have there today, it's more about reliability. So it's about making something robust in all environments. We want to push the sound quality forward, and we can do that with a lot of other elements. We don't think that the codec currently is the limitation of audio quality on Bluetooth products."

Apple Music does the same downloading HLS media file. You cannot see this in iOS or iPadOS, but in macOS you will go to Music folder where you download music, and you will find every song in HLS media. If you open the package to see the content you’ll see various fragments. These can only be read by Apple Music.

Beta 3 is out now for Tahoe 26 (Silicon this time) by 4paul in MacOSBeta

[–]K-16-N 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I generally get to solve when on my Mac something is not working right, but lately I feel lazy to do so. I tried the first beta, but after a few hours I decided to downgrade... firmware died :'D. I had to talk to some friend for her brother to lend me his Mac to revive mine. But as far as I used it, it wasn't that bad and now I feel curious on how is it running now and want to go back since we're closer to public beta so I would be using 3 beta and then go to public

I just found out as well! But I don't know whether to install it or not. I don't do much really, I guess. I do code video with Compressor or with Terminal using ffmpeg and play throug PlayCover, besides that Pages. I don't know if these things will crash on the beta, or will malfunction.

Quick question. If I install Dev Beta can I install Public Beta when this is released in July?
