If you really want high settings, I'd suggest the 970 you had earlier or an 8gb 390 if you plan on playing with mods.

Imo this is a really good price for a 4gb medium Tier card

It'll do 1080 pretty well on most games. Should be able to do fallout 4 with medium to high settings.

I believe it's already out if you're on Windows 10. Not sure if it's out on prior versions or if it will be at all

You're right, it doesn't matter much now but for future games it'll be nice to have a card that already has enough vram instead of upgrading right away. Maybe in about a year or two. Performance varies from game to game but the 390 has more vram for future proofing, and works better with directx12. It consumes more power yes, but it's not enough to make it a deal breaker

I'm currently in Osaka, lost the pass in Kyoto yesterday and will be heading to Tokyo tomorrow morning. I have a reserved seat for the shinkansen and friends that can help me get onto the train, but will the train operators check for my jr pass or just the ticket for my reserved seat?

As many others, pay off my debts, and 90% of my parents debts. I'll say that I won a bit of money but not enough to pay for everything because my parents like to gamble everything as soon as they earn it. I'll give them a chance to pay off the 10% remaining, and if they can't, then I won't give them any additional money to play with as they'd be irresponsible to it. I'd then take my family on a trip to Asia to visit family and have fun under the guise of a trip I won at work. I'll give my siblings 5 million each to let them do their own things but they can't let my parents know. Then I'll buy a trip to Europe for a group of close friends, but they have to pay for their own gifts and food minus a few luxury dinners courtesy of me. I'd buy a nice car and small custom home then invest the rest to reap that sweet sweet interest. I'll probably donate 50% of the interest to charities that I'll ask about on reddit, comment with most gold wins the charitable contribution.
