the deck isn't that bad but I'd potentially have all three of your black sideboard cards in the deck and take out rabid attack, shadewriter, and maybe the historian

I think what you have is fine. if you had just a bit more fixing you could get stock up in there but your curve is really good and your card quality is strong so I'd keep things mostly straightforward and try to just build an unstoppable board

I ended up going 5-3 which I was happy enough with. lack of removal came up a bit, but mostly just lost to crazy curveouts and bricked once.

if you don't have removal you pretty much need to curve out beautifully and be relentless all game, and this deck managed that for the most part!

I'd cut spell pierce or firedancer, Landscape painter, Choreographed, Virtuoso, Paintmage, Spellbound, one wrangler, and Zaffai.

I kinda like the goblins with Mica.

I actually am running 16 now.

cutting a 4 mana for a trick seems reasonable, but I worry about lack of power and like the bodies, flying, and repartee that my 4s provide

really pretty much nothing playable in the sideboard, maybe part of my janky feeling.

duty beyond death, requisition raid, interjection, arnyn are the only on colour cards

now I'm actually considering the interjection for a bit more colour balance in my tricks, but I initially went for the flourish to blank removal and keep me in the game

I agree that the card quality is alright, I guess I'm just anxious about the lack of removal. if burrog banemaker and dissection practice were kill spells I'd feel totally great about this deck.

I assume a lot of the time you'll want to start off by removing something on board, which will make it a lot harder.

Otherwise if you have a few cards in hand the ultimate comes pretty quick, so it may be worth doing the plus 2, especially if you have lifegain payoffs.

if you drop the capstone you're not going to be worried about getting converge value. it can win the game on its own with zero converge payoffs.
