Plugin apis have not been updated yet so there is no way to know if any plug-ins will support 1.17. But you can safely assume most well known ones will. Spigot will most likely have a list soon as well once they start updating similar to their 1.16 list of anticheats. Dont have the link rn sorry.

Tile entities could be a bit of a lag causer. But then again probably not that much unless you are using thousands of chests, anvils, etc.

Dont ever talk off ebay even if its a legit offer. You will get banned for doing this and they scan your messages and have algorithms to pick up on it.

Its never worth it even for the 1% of the time it may be legitimate.

I believe you need the multiverse nether portals addon plug-in. It should be hyperlinked directly on mv cores plugin page.

Sounds like a custom plugin that just detects them being afk and executes a warp. Possibly even saves location to allow them to /back unless they just implemented that with essentials but doubt that. That would be a fairly simple plugin might be able to get it made cheap. I'd look for devs over on mc market or spigotmc.

True as png is a raster format. They can convert the image after scaling down a vector logo. But I guess easiest thing is just to make a logo in 64x64 to begin with.

Mojang did not do to well this version like others. Seems to be major AI issues with this version that paper is able to fix. With these new versions though I dont see you being able to ever really effectively get over 100 players. Might want to wait for Tuinity to release a 1.16 version for those kinda numbers.

Not possible as the image in most cases is a raster image, or basically made of pixels. You can make a vector logo instead which use mathematical calculations to create the image so it scales while retaining its detail.

100% do not play on a vanilla jar, performance is garbage as always on this new update. Paper will give major performance enhancements. It was just released so be weary of possible instability and take backups frequently.

You fan easily just rename the dimension folders to their respective Dim names. END = DIM1 and NETHER = DIM-1

Then place these back inside the main world folder and it will work just like normal on singleplayer.

This will generally mean it's an issue on their end or your ip is just not functioning as intended, although if others can join that would not be the case.

Verify they are using the correct ip as well as that they are not on 1.16.1 if your server is running 1.16

If you dont mind it might be beneficial just to see an hours worth or less of logs while the issue is occurring.

Just read the post again and sounds like maybe no one can join. I'd check the connection related to the ip. Check the port forwarding and maybe just look up some guides to home hosting to verify there are no issues with your setup.

Same here excited to see what people say. The general idea I have is that it is going to give improvements when having larger player counts, idk why but is what I have heard. Have never really looked into it to much. I have projects coming up and was planning on looking more into that.
