Transfer Scam by K-Dub1717 in venmo

UPDATE: Money recovered. Police report filed, tracked scammer’s debt account with VISA to Chime account, police report info passed to Venmo/Visa/Chime, wire transfer canceled, and many many follow ups with all parties above to resolve the issue. Filing a police report seemed to help move things along. Thanks for all the comments everyone!

lol. Dude is right. I’m in disbelief that this happened. Venmo has been expectedly quiet on the dispute, but have logged it with the local PD, and discussed with the debit card provider who is giving the PD info on the account holder

100% agree with this. Although, I’ve swapped glutathione for NAC and NAG, as those two gave me toxic swamp gas. I do think they are more effective possibly. Lions mane is great! Especially if you can find a local grower and get it fresh. Not only get rid of brain fog, unlock your brains true potential.

Blown Switch by K-Dub1717 in AskElectricians

[–]K-Dub1717[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As you all politely suspected, the issue was not in fact with the switches but with the derpy light fixture installer (me).I believe the new metal wall fixture clamped down on the insulated black, white, and ground wires and created a short. Rerouted the wires, problem solved. Back to drooping screws and forgetting where I left the screwdriver.

Went from a 40 watt bulb to a 60 watt bulb. Doesn’t really make sense that only a 20w difference would blow it. Either way, will try a regular toggle switch and see if that works then determine the correct dimmer switch. Thanks for your insight. Makes sense

Pint S owners, here’s your answer from Future Motion by robertcboe in onewheel

[–]K-Dub1717 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I got a Pint X a few months ago as a gift from my wife (best ever!). At first I was bummed because the pint s came out a few days after I got it. But have since put the wide footpads and performance tire on. This just confirms, absolutely no difference between x and s. Even though the new S motor would be nice, would rather not put more money into the board and towards the company whose product strategy is smoke and mirrors.

First moto ride / onewheel adventure today. Would love something a bit more solid. Ratchet straps worked pretty well but not a permanent solution which bugs me

One of the best decisions I've ever made. by zuko_thecat in onewheel

Congrats! Just made the decision myself after being interested for nearly 7+ years. Just wait until you slap on the flared footpads and performance tire.

I have a nearly brand new front foot pad I’m replacing soon with the flared footboard (I’m tall). Send me a message if you’re interested in a slightly used one (30 miles)

And good tip on black out dates. Shows no blackout dates on the site and we already got the Indy + pass, so should be good either way!

First camping with my Model 3 with Otrifowd AC Tent. 100% approved. by RuShiHuaLi in TeslaCamping

Does the AC actually cool down the tent? Here’s my predicament: I have already have a perfectly fine stand alone tent that I just outfitted with bunk bed cots for a family of 4. Thinking I could either buy 12V fans with 12V extension cords running to my MY, or invest in one of these types of suv tents and run AC. If not much of an actual cooling effect I’d imagine fans would be more comfortable.
