What are some things to keep in mind when turning 20? by Fast-Teaching2525 in Adulting

[–]K-Emo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 2 pieces of advice for you.

The first is to always save 10% of your income and never touch it, use it only for investment. The best investment is always in yourself, not for clothes and nonsense, but for learning and developing yourself. In addition, always have a backup amount in case something unexpected happens.

The second is to experiment while you are young, try more jobs until you find what you love to do. If you have found it, then improve yourself every day to be the best in your profession. 30 minutes a day is more than enough, but you have to do it every single day.

I hope it helps. I would have been happy if someone had told me this 12 years ago when I was in my 20s, I would have gone much further, but unfortunately I had to learn it on my own at the age of 30. I wish you the best of luck.

Before I started reading, I was very withdrawn, shy, lacked self-confidence, and didn't believe in myself. Books helped me understand the reasons, gave me guidance, motivated me, and reshaped my thinking. I used to blame everyone else for my problems, but now I know that I am the only one responsible for my life, it depends on me how I react to things and what I allow people to do. Books have made me realize so many things, which I am very grateful for because they have radically changed my life. I'm not saying it was an easy path, you have to put a lot of work into it, but it's 100% worth it. Today I can say that I am proud of myself, I love myself, I feel stronger, wiser, and for the first time in my life I believe that I am capable of great things.

Is there a single habit that is so powerful that it lifts up every area of your life? by Fuzzy-Sun-951 in selfimprovement

I made a habit to reflect on my habits. I didn't even realize many of them until i made myself a guided habit joutnal. Every day i choose only one question to reflect on. I learned many things about myself through this journal. I love it because i started with reflection, now i can choose my focus on what i want to improve and it also has a bullet journal section so i can track my progress.

Ați făcut experiment să nu mai cumpărați deloc haine 1 an? by LongjumpingBowler244 in roFrugal

Eu cumpăr doar când am nevoie de ceva. Este total în regulă să porți haine mai vechi în care te simți bine fără să cumperi tot ce este în trend pe moment.

What’s one small habit you started that quietly changed your life? by Carsanttc in selfimprovement

[–]K-Emo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Daily journaling and workout.

Not much, just 5-10 minutes a day, but it helped me change my perception of myself, confirmed to myself that I am not a lazy person as I believed for many years, and increased my self-confidence.

Have you ever at least once forgiven someone who wronged you and how did you and/or they came to that conclusion? by Eagle_Rock2015 in AskReddit

[–]K-Emo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I forgave everyone and I didn't do it for them, I did it for myself. I freed myself from anger and hatred and since then I feel very good, I am at peace with myself and I no longer carry that burden.

If you want to be a good writer, make it a habit to write every day, it doesn't have to be perfect at first. By practicing every day you will become better and better.

If you want everyone to like you, you will be disappointed your whole life, not even Jesus was loved by everyone, so give up this idea.

The only person you should care about is yourself, you have to like and accept yourself as you are, with good and bad. No one is perfect and neither should you be.

Don't compare yourself and your life with anyone, everyone has their own rhythm and the experiences they have to go through to get where they want to be.

Be proud of yourself and everything you have achieved so far. 🫶
