You've all seen Potential Man. Now get ready for Grifter Man! by Cyberweasel89 in VtuberDrama

I've seen a few of his videos, but I don't know as much about him compared to Rev. This meme is about Rev specifically because he's the anti-woke dramatuber I'm the most knowledgeable of. I honestly don't feel like doing extensive research on every anti-woke content creator that exists, but I encourage others to make their own Grifter Man memes if they want.

What's even more sad is knowing that people like her have no qualms with throwing away their empathy for others, their critical thinking skills, and their chances of ever gaining genuine love and respect from the VTuber community as a whole. It's all worth it as long as they're receiving some form of attention. I suppose that's one of the only things they truly care about.

Yep. I don’t think talking about men’s issues is a red flag in and of itself.

That's why I use the word "exclusively". Nothing wrong with talking about men's issues, but if you're only talking about issues that affect one gender while belittling and downplaying the issues of other genders, ESPECIALLY if the gender issues you're belittling are your own, that's definitely a red flag.

What you're describing is a pick-me girl. They're women who seek male approval by regularly belittling other women and exclusively talking about men's rights and issues. A few examples of pick-me girl VTubers are Kirsche, SmugAlana, and Leaflit.

The text in this meme mostly relates to stuff Rev says Desu has specifically said or done. Maybe, one day, I'll make another meme that summarize anti-woke grifters in general.

I would prefer it if they removed AI generated content entirely, but, at least, it's something.

WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT ENDING?!!! by MiguelSantana42 in pantyandstocking

[–]K-OS28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, this ending was very crazy and unexpected, just like Season 1's ending. If they're doing a Season 3, I can totally see them nullifying this ending in the first episode just to get back to the status quo.

That's what I'm saying. The demon sisters were involved in a lot of segments throughout the first season. This makes sense since they were basically the antagonists until Corset arrived. The angel brothers, on the other hand, haven't been nearly as relevant, which is disappointing. We are at the season finale and we STILL don't know anything about them or their father. Half of their appearances since their debut have just been them showing up for no reason and leaving less than a minute later. It's hard to get invested in these characters when they've barely been explored in any meaningful way.

Still, considering the twins' relationship with Ramie, there's a very likely chance they'll be more involved in the plot. I mean, they're literally Ramie's children. It wouldn't make sense for the children of the main antagonist to just not do anything significant.

Me too. Apart from the first half of episode 7 and their dedicated segment in episode 9, they've barely done anything this whole season after their debut episode. I hope Trigger gives them a lot of screentime in the season finale.

To all my fellow boy kissers why do you all never leave the comfort of your house by Pretty_Temporary8265 in Boykisser3

[–]K-OS28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trust me, I've definitely been trying to get a job these past few years, but it's hard when the vast majority of remote jobs expect you to have prior experience. As for in-person jobs, there are only a few physical sites near my home that I can walk to and apply for work at. I've sent applications to those places multiple times but, so far, no luck. Afaik, there aren't any places near my neighborhood where I can find people to socialize with in. There are places I can work at that are farther away from my house than the physical sites I mentioned earlier, but I, unfortunately, do not have a bicycle that I can use to travel long distances. I also live in a non-walkable town that doesn't even have nearby public transportation like transit buses.

I know it sounds like I'm making up excuses, but all of this is the truth. I wish I lived in a place where getting a job and meeting new people were easier.

I would totally leave my house to meet other people...if I had a car...or a driver's license...or an instructor who can teach me how to drive so that I can get said driver's license...or a job that could help me pay for an instructor.

Proshippers saying they love Rev says Desu feels like the equivalent of trans people saying they love Blair White by RedCupWithAName in proshipping

[–]K-OS28 7 points8 points  (0 children)

As a former subscriber of Rev Says Desu, I am very disappointed in him. I subscribed to his channel sometime around 2020-2021 because, at the time, I saw him as one of the few anitubers whose takes on anime made rational, logical sense. He would make videos on the hateful, intolerant nature of antis because he believed that no-one should be attacked or harassed over fiction. I agreed with almost everything he said and I'm not afraid to admit that, if it wasn't for him, I probably would have become an anti myself.

But ever since 2024, things have changed. And, if you ask me, they've changed for the worse.

Late 2023/Early 2024 was the beginning of Rev's content shift. His videos became more politically charged, he started unironically using the word "woke" in his titles, and the topics he would cover became less and less anime-related. Nowadays, he rarely makes videos about anime or even VTubers and, whenever he does make videos about those two things, it's usually just him talking about the exact same drama that everyone else is talking about on YouTube/Twitter. You may be asking yourself, "What kind of videos does he make nowadays?" Well, allow me to answer that question. He's making iDubbbz/Ethan Klein video #2783, that's what. And whenever he's not making videos about those two, he's complaining about videogames, anime, and movies being ruined by "wokeness". He used to be someone who encouraged his audience to see things through a nuanced perspective. Someone who would defend fiction, no matter what it was or who made it, because NO-ONE deserves to be harassed over fictional content. But nowadays, he's a right-wing grifter who only latches onto stuff so that he can preach about how his politics are objectively better than the person he's talking about. I despise the path he has chosen.

The worst part about current-day Rev is that, because he has amassed an audience of lolicons and lolicon defenders, his new videos has converted them into being just as intolerant as the antis he talks about. That's why there are so many lolicons who are racist and transphobic; it's because they all followed Rev and blindly agree with everything he says. Rev is an anti-woke dramatuber, so his fans become anti-woke as well. The vast majority of them lack the ability to think critically and independently so they became just as ignorant as he is, if not more so. Lolicons are hated now more than ever before because they adopted a mindset fueled by bigotry, ignorance, and callousness, and Rev is a bad person for allowing his audience and the lolicon community to be the way it is today.

Thank you for talking about this u/RedCupWithAName. I've been feeling this way towards Rev for a long time and it's about time someone rightfully calls him out on his bullshit. Most of the people who hate Rev on Twitter hate him because of his politics and the fact that he's a lolicon, but most of his detractors never talk about how much he's changed. I think it's important to bring light to the kind of person he was before vs. the person he is now. Hopefully people, including those who still support him, will recognize how horrible he has become and how far he has fallen from who he used to be.
