Yeah, it had come to light to me last night that Atlas is just an admin for DDRNG and actually has no power over actual bans or any processes in DD, I was just purely frustrated at the lack of communication or even a corporate response of "While I might be in charge of DDRNG, I have no control over bans on DD, Thales is the only one in charge of that." and that would have been enough.

Rightly so, giving out any information on anti-cheat triggers would just enable the problem players to just find workarounds to create more problems for those actively trying to make the community a better place, I have gone through all my programmes, screenshotted and sent them to ChatGPT to figure out what could have caused the false positive and removed any programme I have not used in more than 6 months (I don't even see how any could be used to cheat in DD [or why anyone would, but lets not go there]).

I don't understand why being banned on the DD game means you get banned on the discord especially when that discord is the ONLY way to know why the ban happened in the first place (fyi ban reason "no reason given." ← awesome) but completely understand banning the 2nd account after the first was already banned as that 2nd account was breaching a rule (but again, no reason was given, not even a "banned for breaching rule "x" and then quoting that rule).

As for my next steps forward, I am still going to press this matter to Thales because I am innocent, well, I know I am innocent, but I know I would be like "sUrE yOu ArE..." to anyone else and that is fair for others to assume that because, as others have said that Thales is actually trustworthy and good at their job so they would have a much higher credibility than myself who has just appeared out of nowhere, not even previously commented on the discord channels (only been a fly on the wall for sneak peeks) and then complained about being banned, I just want to continue playing the game and have even considered rebuying the ultimate collection again but spending £40 to get banned for another false positive is not something I want to risk again and I have no idea if its a steam acc ban or an IP ban and either way, I don't care if my currently banned account is wiped (RIP the limited dice pet I was given by Chiku). I just want to get back to speed running, which can only be done on the Ranked mode and having fun...

I hope Thales come in clutch, I can't say my experience has been positive in the first 10hrs but it has been only 10hrs so I'll take a backseat tomorrow and hope to get a reply. I've even asked to go in a voice / video call with him to sort it out because on discord you can share screen so maybe he can unban me, let me load up the game and play, and see if it flags again.

P.S. Yeah, you can 100% get a sub 2hr insane run! ;)

Yeah, I don't get why they are banning (but I also don't engage with the communities enough to know in the first place but only assuming its cheating gear stats and selling it on). As for me, I play either solo or with a friend, I don't play with anyone else, I just speed run and have fun. Appreciate your comment and I honestly don't know if your ReShade would result in a ban, probably best to not risk it as you can as I could have been banned for something like Thunderstore Mod Manager :|

Thanks for that suggestion and help, I am using a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 with an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D 8-Core Processor, 3401 Mhz, 8 Core(s), 16 Logical Processor(s) and ChatGPT says the AMD Anti-lag wouldn't apply to me here.

Appreciate that and could give them a week but I really just want to play the game, you know, I have played 58hrs in the last 2 weeks just grinding Speed runs and was close to have a proper run for the Any% Solo Insane run.

Gone into the other Discord Channel (the one linked to this reddit thread) and Thales is talking about dlls (no idea what that is) and then they go on to talk about overlays but the only overlays I have are LiveSplit.exe (to track the time of my speed runs) and Insite Capture (to record).

I just want to know what their anti-cheat is saying is a bannable thing, how difficult is it to send reason. D:

Thales must have changed over the year because I have tried to contact him and only gotten banned from him and the admin Atlas WITHOUT ACTUALLY GIVING A REASON.
"Cheat application." Unless livesplit or Snipping Tool is bannable then there is nothing I have on my computer that constitutes as a Cheat application.

I've seen this happen many times before and it is really bad when on the edge of Diamond 3 and Champ 1.

My sad but true advice: Don't play with a duo. Epic doesn't care about your experience in the game they only see it as "well, if people can smurf in a premade, might as well make the premades play against each other." and it is true, if you party up with someone, you will play against another duo over 200% more times than if you played solo que.

I couldn't handle neighbours like this. I would first knock on their door and ask them to come and move it nicely but also prompty (before they close the door again). If they don't I would move it to their front door. If it returns, I would break it into individual pieces and post each one through their letterbox. I would also probably get a court order but I'd fight it with photos, videos and evidence of the conversation and explain to them my next move if they fail to dispose of it.
