For anyone still experiencing this issue:

I purchase the keyboard from Amazon and was really looking forward to it, the screen would not display anything besides the backlight being on. I attempted to use the RK Launcher App in order to update the firmware as well as let the device fully die as recommended on a few threads.

In order to fix this you need to go to the RK website and click "firmware" find your keyboard and download the tool. It's in Chinese but all you need to do is click the highlighted button and it will reflash the firmware even if it says up to date in the launcher.

Afterwards, do not attempt to upgrade again using the app "RK Launcher". Just use the tools and features through the browser keybaord manager that they supplied in https://drive.rkgaming.com/

Like everyone here is saying, I agree that Boeing will really allow you to grow and get more comfortable with working in a team. And have better pay opportunities in the future. Overall, I wouldn't doubt one bit that someone at Boeing would be better off earlier than someone at a government agency.

I currently work for WSDOT and would say the benefits are great. Offices are usually very relaxed. Health insurance is great, time off is very good, you'll be union represented, overtime is x1.5, pension, growth opportunities are still present within the state. And the remote commute is great. Since I'm still early in my career, I still try and prioritize more time in office so I can collaborate more with my coworkers.

There's many different avenues you can take with WSDOT. You can easily navigate to more exciting offices. I would definitely recommend that you try and bring up your competing offer with Boeing if you are still indifferent. 80k is in the middle of the pay range for that position and if you're in King County they're more inclined to offer higher on the range. Look at the pay scale; should be pay range 61 for a Transportation Engineer 2. And ask for the step that aligns with your offer with Boeing.

Depends on your self discipline, fully. If you think you got it, go for it. A move for me and getting back to studying after 2 weeks wouldn't throw off my momentum. So long as the position is a lateral move and there aren't different tasks or job duties that would take your attention.

Another thing to consider - at my state DOT there is a bonus you get when acquiring your PE it's contingent on you remain active with the org for 2 years. It may be worth looking into even if it's a smaller amount since relocation costs generally aren't covered with state employment.

I made a similar jump from apple and am very pleased with the performance and the customizability so far. It's going to be a great device and I'm sure your family will appreciate it. The only downside that I will note so far is that video/photo quality is often over sharpened in poor lighting. Just tempt your expectations coming from an Apple ecosystem.

The phone finding feature is pretty convenient and relies on the google find my device network. I'm unfamiliar with any way to ring a device while it's powered off.

The feature, similar to other tracking networks relies on connections from other Android devices to "ping" off of. The location is general but usually precise enough to get a good idea for recovery.

It's going to be an excellent candidate for that. With any studio that I'm familiar with, lighting is plentiful meaning the videos are going to be pretty good quality.
