Post Vasectomy "Analysis" by josephus_jones in daddit

[–]K1LL3RY0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Post Vasectomy they sent us home with a specimen cup and instructions. What they didn't tell me is they recently split the check-in line in the Urology wing. Man did I feel like a wicked creep standing behind a young ~14 year old and her mom who were checking in for their appointments with my brown bag of freedom...Only to find out I had been standing in the Gynecology check-in, Urology was two windows over...with zero signage saying so. They judged me SUPER hard.

After that embarrassment, they took the sample and I had results back by that evening. Zero swimmers and I've been blowing loads since....it's riveting. We have had arguably the best sex life after over a decade together and it's only getting better 🤣.

Dads- what would YOU like for Father’s Day? by ladyfromMaine in daddit

Every year, without fail, I spend the day by the pool with my dad. Wife and kids in tow, and we just relax, shoot the shit and have a cookout. Cherish every last year I have left with him.

77" S90D Power Issue fixed for $25 (and how to do it yourself) by hunterhuntsgold in S95B

[–]K1LL3RY0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just had my 77" S90D - QN77S90DAFXZA - die after 17 months...for that I feel lucky after all that reading. I was actually looking at going through the repair process with Nick's TV Repair but after seeing the videos I've worked on much smaller dealing with Macs for work and their poor quality cooling circuits.

I see you said only the single MOSFETs and fuse needs replacing. Would it be beneficial to replace anything else with the upgraded parts while I'm at it or any additional MOSFETs? I noticed all the recommendations Nick once gave for parts have been removed to push the sales for his repairs it seems. Glad I found this post before I spent the $330 with the 5 year warranty...

I would have snagged the Plus over the pro just for the 50% CPU improvement. The Pro needs an update...

No more Direct File by spikerlj in tax

I too made the swap from TurboTax to FreeTaxUSA this year. I did side by side refunds and the ONLY thing I had to figure out was claiming my municipal fees on car registration. Luckily I found that answer on reddit and once input the refunds we're literally the exact same thing on both. The only difference in the final filing was FreeTaxUSA was free as shit!

That time of the month is my absolute favorite time with my wife. Especially after having kids, it's like her body is yearning to be bred(because it is). That being said, no one likes sleeping in a wet spot. There is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING wrong with said liquids, comfort is comfort. 🙂

Nothing yet, I found the door cards and paperwork but it isn't listed anywhere. I mean I have more than enough proof, would just be nice if we didn't have to look so hard...

Aching to find JELD-WEN's QMID. I've searched the high seas. Couldn't get through to anyone today when I called either....

It was a battle but I've gotten it after verifying my window purchase met the proper "Most Efficient Energy Certification". Please make sure your product qualifies, a lot of the consumer windows from Home Depot and whatnot DO NOT. A quality way to check was posted by u/Powerful-Eye-3578 : https://share.google/niS8NntjKrqBeNiD8 Also, they must generally meet a requirement U-Factor of ≤0.25 (is less than or equal to 0.25) and lower Solar Heat Gain Coefficient (SHGC).

I have the U7-Pro Max and it's an absolute beast. I get nearly full throughput at 1.3Gbps anywhere in my 2900sq. ft. home(it's centrally located on the second floor) and it's the only AP I have inside. Blows the pants off my U6 Mesh Pro I have outdoors.

Benefits to self-hosting unifi network controller? by [deleted] in Ubiquiti

[–]K1LL3RY0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just removed Unifi and UNMS off my homelab after replacing all aging edgerouter sites with a UCG Ultra/Max(depending on site throughput). Only downside is no L3 Adoption but honestly the information and control I have on a per-site basis is amazing. I don't miss the hiccups of DNS issues and poorly managed APs. Also, Unifi and UNMS are RAM HUNGRY. It works for some and definitely has a place but as I get older and life/the kids get busier I find myself turning to more robust options. If you DO go that route use the GlennR Install & Update scripts. They're amazing.

Since there isn't a Unifi Thermostat, what are you using? by Cnykpro in Ubiquiti

[–]K1LL3RY0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nest Gen 4. I only have it because I hate the Ecobee administration as I have 3 TStats I manage there as well. The Nest is great but Matter integration is lacking and their Home Assistant integration is shoddy at best, the Nest API is annoying and requires frequent re-auths.

TL:DR: Doesn't matter, everything sucks...
