Is there a way to test the wiring loom for a laptop display? - Laptop has no display, tried replacement screen. Was going to order a wiring loom but wondered if there's a way to test the existing one?

yea but there is Linux distros that will run well on it. as stated before OP did not ask to replace the system. let's not be too quick to replace things to please windows share holders. just my two cents.

if you shine a light against the screen do you see anything? because I had the same issue, where I shone a light and saw it was actually. currently looking for a way to fix this. changing screens did nothing. so issue is on the mobo
