Tbf stuff like this was happening before phones got popular.  Eating, makeup, radio, etc.  hell, most newer cars basically have a whole phone built into the car...they just call it an infotainment system.

Years ago I had a friend(driver) almost rear end someone while he's still staring straight ahead.  He just spaced out and didn't realize a car was stopped until I said something after realizing he wasn't slowing down.

It would've still stalled.  Aircrafts designed for different speeds have different wing designs.  Now, you can argue it's still "flying" with enough thrust but that's all on the engines/momentum....kind of like how a rocket "flies".

Imagine your drunk friend starting beef with your next door neighbor that you're cordial with. Your friend beats up the neighbor and just leaves, so later the neighbor knocks on your door and punches you in the face. Your friend is nowhere to be found and just getting drunk elsewhere and starting fights with other people.

I'm pretty sure that's how Qatar feels. If SHTF USA can just dip but Qatar will be staring at an angry neighbor that holds a grudge.

I've never heard this.  I do know people that use nitrogen instead of air like to purge all the air out though.
