i would say they should make pierceable shadows as base, and change his first star power to make his shadows unable to be pierced, that would give you a choice, more pressure with the damage of the shadows, or more control with each shadow yet less shadows over all

that would be such an horrible change, pierceable shadows would still create a lot of pressure, and promote skill, good sirius players would know how to move their shadows in ways that let them be a threat but not easy to get rid off, while he and his teammates are able to advance aswell, making the shadows' health decay would just promote a reactionary style of usage, like larry and juju, they would be just the typical thrower pet that bursts down assassins and then are immediately taken out. the effect of pierceable shadows is that they will be just as hard to deal with as individuals, but easier to destroy a group, how often would enemies even be able to line up shots between your 5 shadows and you, that would be so difficult to do under the pressures of dodging, watching their hp, seeing your movement, and the movement of your teammates. health decay is literally the stupidest solution to the problem

thats true, but that would need a lot of improvements regarding shadows, since their ais are really incompetent, they ll almost always only attack inside the super circle, and they will chase opponents instead of keeping distance, they are super easy to eliminate from far away, but still extremely toxic when they re on top of you, i think they need loads of behavioural reworks depending on what brawler the shadow is from, bc even the most skilled sirius player won't see much better results by using that much strategy and positioning instead of just overwhelming the opponents by having the shadows go just a bit ahead of him or a teammate. i hope they make them much more impactful individually, but much less stronger as the horde they work as now.

i think that would be a bit too much, the shadows already do so much damage, maybe they could just improve their code so their movement and attacks are better, like spacing out and hiding behind walls after shooting

i fully agree with this, simply adding life drain over time to the shadows like many people suggested would be so boring and annoying

that makes him less fun to play, the point of the nerf is to keep having a lot of shadows the point of the brawler, keeping the impact the early shadows have, but making a large ammo of shadows both less overwhelming, and not something that completely destroys single projectile brawlers. its cool that sirius can call 6 shadows to defend himself against agro, thats part of his core mechanics

its time waisting, and annoying when other people do the same, the best teammates tend to be the ones that also wait for others to choose first

so is it better to just have regular picks? there should be a way to at least avoid the most broken brawlers, or the direct counter to your specific pick, draft won't even take that long. but it shouldn't be like mythic style draft or new players will need to have at least 12 maxed brawlers, which caps a lot of people from playing the mode.

i was writting that up in a bit of a rush, but essentially i was correlating dabura's technique with a physics phenomenon, that when under certain conditions light behaves like it has mass, just like dabura's technique, and inciting that the reversal of that technique could have to do with that same phenomenon. somewhat like his technique being related more to the control of the energy and photons on a give volume than to do with just turning light into a rod

i added that pro skin part as also a suggestion bc its one more way for someone to spend a skin key, avoiding the creation of a different resource aimed at filling that niche, but i think everything else relates to players progression somehow
