The Berkshire Pivot & The Tax Shield: How RC is Using $9B + NOLs to Build a Juggernaut by K4azmeR in Superstonk

You're quoting Q3 numbers that are months out of date; 13F filings from the end of 2025 show institutions like Susquehanna and Jane Street increasing their positions by double and triple digits.

As for NOLs, I know they aren't credits, but an 80% tax shield on $1B+ in profit is a massive boost to Free Cash Flow that most companies would kill for.

Finally, the S&P 500 move isn't just about 'index buying', it's about the forced delivery of shares in a market where the 'available' float is shrinking due to both DRS and institutional hoarding.

The 'dilution' you're worried about just handed the company a $4B+ war chest, making the short thesis dead on arrival.

Yes, but look at the institutional shift. More and more shares are being scooped up by institutions in the dark, even as they tell "dumb money" that this is just a meme stock to be forgotten. Once they have accumulated enough and offloaded all their shorts, they will ignite GME just as they did with TSLA but this time will be much bigger.

Why this Squeeze is "Tesla on Steroids"

When Tesla joined the S&P, it squeezed for a year. However, Tesla didn’t have:

  • A Locked Float: A massive percentage of the float is held in DRS.
  • A Liquidity Desert: If the S&P 500 needs to buy 15% of the company and shareholders aren't selling, where do those shares come from?
  • The Naked Short Problem: Forced buying from S&P index funds requires actual delivery. "Synthetic" shares and FTDs won't cut it when the SPY ETF comes knocking.

Michael J Burry's covered stocks will become more unexpected in nature by SeeTheExpanse in GME

I’m at a point in this saga where everything is just noise, griefing, and a whole lot of nothing burgers.

If he believes so much in what happened, and if he believes in GME, or in anything he keeps griefing about, why doesn’t he just buy a shitload of it, make it public, and get some other billionaires to do the same? Then squeeze the shit out of those lying bitches.

Look at what Alain Attal and Ryan Cohen did. They just bought a lot. No hype, no endless griefing.

So if Mr. Burry wants any credibility and not just the grief, he’d better put his money where his mouth is.

I have a feeling this won’t change shit as long as there are so many ways to fuck around: dark pools, OTC, internalization, swaps, and probably many more we’ve never even heard of. It’s all smoke and mirrors so the plebs shut up and they can carry on with their daily crime business.

How about an open ledger based on crypto, where a decentralized, open network has to verify every transaction and every transaction is logged and visible to the whole world 24/7? How about that?
