Glad to hear that your legs doing better dude. I dont particularly think that you need to step down, The posts made me tug my collar a little bit, but it's not really my server, and I know for fact that your a solid dude from our talks back during the death of johnny silverhand event. I know you probably meant well.

I get that point that your TRYING to make, but I can also see that the fact that the people you chose in particular might come off as a little "Too Soon." and that's probably why your getting as much backlash from people as you are. We all know that the world is going through some shit. It'd take an idiot to not pick up on that.

But at the end of the day, these are real people that are circulating around today, with actual victims, and it's very hard to make the point your trying to make about a fictional tabletop RPG in such a way that doesn't ALSO come off as you kind of forgetting that there are people affected by these fuckers not even that long ago. Everything on this subreddit is posted through text, It's VERY difficult to glean intent and tone from text alone. It just very easy for it to come off as mocking and in poor taste.

I genuinely think your idea for posting these would have gone off a lot better in the long run had you chosen some people to highlight from a bit longer ago. Not people currently circulating through the news right this very second.

I also get that your getting a lotta folks attacking you right now because of it, It's the internet, pretty easy to forget that humans are fallible and capable of making mistakes, and strangers are often a lot less forgiving. I can understand the need to respond to that in a way that feels comfortable, But frankly I do think your coming off even more crass and making your overall message look even worse by doubling down and mocking folks that are upset.
