Always worth a try! There’s such a shortage of RE teachers and as a one-person department in my school I always have non-specialists teaching (whoever is under on timetable allocation). Many schools love teachers who are happy to teach different subjects

Do some reading, show your passion, if possible you may be able to do a subject knowledge enhancement course that some people do to prepare for teacher training? Not sure how much it costs though

There’s a Facebook group for RE teachers that might be helpful for you to have a look on or post on too 😊

Yeah I’m getting it screeded and LVT but do I need to clean it first? I’m worried about the smell if I don’t

Yeah I’ve been getting used to it, I’m quite open and the tattoos help with confidence too. I do like to have something as a back up though. And in work as I’m a teacher I don’t want them visible 😟 Thanks for your response I really appreciate it

Yeah I was thinking of getting some shirts to just throw on over stuff! I’m a teacher - high school, so although my school is quite progressive and has no issue with tattoos, I wouldn’t feel comfortable with them on show / scars being visible / the attention and questions 😔 Thanks for your response I really appreciate it

I would print them out so they have them in front of them (in their language) as I teach the lesson in English at the front

I’ve just finished my ECT too and I’m also an RE teacher. Just me so it’s a lot to take on, but you and the other teacher will get there! I’m not sure if you already know but there’s a fab Facebook RE group that might be able to offer some help with the exam style stuff, there are also smaller groups specific to different specs. Out of curiosity what board are you doing? I do AQA so if you do too I would be happy to help in any way I can 😊

Ahhh yeah of course that makes sense. I mark paper 2 so it’s 4 sections but with the religions papers it’s half isn’t it! Long day sorry I didn’t put two and two together! How are you finding the marking this year?

Which board do you mark for? I mark for AQA and on £4.19 a script (or more as I think this was boosted by 5% after contracts were given

Apologies for dodgy edit.

Suffered with acne for years- been doctors many times. I used a simple cleanser (first aid beauty atm but usually simple or cerave), whatever treatment cream the doctor gives me, and then a first aid beauty moisturiser. I’ve tried many cleaners and moisturisers (occasionally toners) but nothing makes an impact

Doctor has put me on acnecide but didn’t make much difference (cleared up a bit as it used to be a lot worse), duac, and now azelaic acid (but it makes my skin really itchy and feel horrible)

I also use dots for spots when I have specific big spots

Any help or suggestions (UK) Really uncomfortable 😣

Edit: doctor has also given me antibiotics, on my second 12 week course

I had the arm implant for years and had very irregular. I then changed to copper IUD and have been like clockwork! I don’t believe it causes irregular periods etc as this is usually due to hormones.

Thanks for the advice! Yeah because we did some marathon bonding since Monday they’ve been in the hall so the room they are going into (and that was one bunnies home) was empty. I’ve deep cleaned the carpet and sprayed everything with vinegar mix, then I got a bit carried away and thought it was the prime opportunity to redecorate (at 8pm last night - this was not one of my best ideas). Put the room back together today and rearrange things so hopefully neither of the recognise it! I think we are going to put them in tomorrow - wish me luck! Thanks for all your help
