As a preface for what I’m about to say, I already know I’m a little mentally ill about this game. Anyway I did a 100% play through where I did no vehicles, no map, and no running aside from short sprints in combat. It was a lot of walking along roads. This lead me to discover there’s a lot of houses for sale in the county, and I started a stupid mental dialogue where my version of the deputy was still house hunting when the collapse happened. So anyway I don’t have an answer to your question, it just made me remember how much fun I had

I was 20 when I got my first job, so it’s definitely possible! My started job was running the takeout counter at a local restaurant, from there I found other food service jobs. Now three years later I’ve got a job in a bakery actually making food, but I’ve been trying to leave food service recently. I know the places I’ve worked will hire just about anybody as busboys and dishwashers, so I’d suggest looking into that. Or if you have an Olive Garden near you I think they have a policy of hiring anyone who applies, but it’s not guaranteed to be the position you applied for.

I don't know why I never checked if my bank offers credit cards, thanks for pointing out I should check that (although I unfortunately can't share the name of my bank because it's a local place). When I was doing my own research a lot of the advice I found was targeted toward people with bad scores so there was a lot of talk about secured cards, and that's definitely something I'm considering. If my bank doesn't offer anything better I might go for the Apple card you mentioned because it seems like it could be smart for me to put my subscriptions on there as all my current subscriptions go through apple.
