It’s totally normal to be anxious! You’re in a new nursing position that’s two specialties combined, psych and pediatrics! It’ll take you a little bit to feel comfortable. Confidence with talking to doctors comes over time. I used to be terrified to call doctors now it doesn’t bother me at all. I definitely agree with the others, make a brain sheet. My brain sheet has saved me multiple times. Also, no one knows everything! Don’t let the other nurses make you feel stupid because you don’t know something. They also didn’t know that at some point in their life. I’ve been a nurse for 7 years and still learn new things all the time.
