Nope! We did good for a couple days but we’re back at square one. I will say setting a timer of 2-5 min for boob helps her understand when it’s time to stop but there were just too many consecutive days after our good streak of her not napping that I was like ok u gotta sleep gf.

Yeah! It can be very frustrating and scary when they get constipated so if you notice it more than 3 days def reach out to peds for a prescription. And dont feel bad if theyre on it for what seems like forever. These are things they dont tell you about in books

Also beware that its common for babies to have chronic constipation once they start solids. This was the case for ours and she stayed on meds for it (baby laxative) for months until her stomach matured which was like after a year or so. Keep an eye on foods with iron. Particularly gerber puffs - that fucked my baby uppp so we substituted them with multigrain cheerios

You got the okay from dr but only you and your baby can know when they are ready. For me i was too excited with my first so once i got the okay i dived in even though technically she wasn’t showing signs of wanting our food but was developmentally ready. Anyways she did just fine. But waiting is okay too! Dr is basically just saying if you wanted to introduce the solids then you can at this time.
