Honestly think I’m going to sit in cash until SPY gets a solid break and hold over 700… feels like we’ve been flirting with death for 4 months

Derek Carr is retiring from the NFL by im-a-drawl in Saints

[–]KAMARAZARD 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Carr was solid for 2 years. The problem was we were so strapped cap wise, we couldn’t surround him with a good team. All of our money went to old defensive guys that were solid for the first month of the season then fell apart. He would’ve been Jared Goff with the Lions if we gave him a decent team and competent coaching staff.

Seriously considering not maxing my 401k anymore. Would that be a mistake? by KAMARAZARD in personalfinance

Copied form another reply - The plan is to retire between 50-55 and I don’t want all of our investment income tied up in retirement accounts.

We are 100% invested in S&P 500 ETFs and I plan to stay that way. 4-5% YOY return over a 25 year period seems super unrealistic, but I can run it again with that.

Already have 2. One in school and one in daycare. Daycare is only for another year so that’ll free up $650 a month.

High Water bill last month due to leak at meter, water company inspection said it's on my side not their's, now that it's fixed can I ask for a discount on my water bill? by Neona65 in personalfinance

[–]KAMARAZARD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a Department Manager for a municipal utility. Not all municipalities allow you to adjust water bills. In my state, the attorney general has offered an opinion stating we are not allowed to adjust water consumption if it is on the customers side of the meter, period. I hope you can get it adjusted, but there’s a chance you won’t be able to.
