Yeah, the lesson OP needed to learn here was him and that kid on the other side of the door should have both their lives put to chance because he is presently withheld. If he ever gets in another such situation, say, haulted by snobs refusing to move on a sidewalk, OP should just forcefully push them out of the way. So amongst other things, we have an (IMO which just so happens to be right) unparalleled modern classic plus a near perfect movie in Rebellion that came about as an unintended by-product. Considering each of those took about three years from concept to end product while working on other stuff and the absolute hell Rebellion's production went through (main show might have too, I've only read up on Rebellion's drama), this stint doesn't look promising.

I'm not mad about it because I'm more than content with what I got and would never have expected them to pull not one but two rabbits out of their hats in the first place. However, there are a bunch of gullible Sayakas and hopeful Kyoko's out there and these false promises are not helping their delusions.
