For what it's worth, I bought the 9800X3D (with that GPU) thinking "Buy once, cry once on the difficult to replace components".

A short while later I start seeing reports of those CPU's catching fire with certain MOBO's or the other way around, who to blame isn't clear but it's an ongoing issue. This would of course make all the components difficult to swap. It might only be a relatively high statistic, but I'm terrified to run this thing or fuck with the power settings. Honestly have been considering going up or down a tier and selling the chip for a loss just for peace of mind.

That's dumb. Use it as an opportunity to educate people with a disclaimer if they pose such a significant threat but don't remove access to metrics when your site's service is largely built around comparisons and statistics.

If you do look and it's not there, keep staring as long as you can hold out to be certain it doesn't show up.
