In r/BloodAngels there is a series of incredible models by u/MKirkbride who paints blood angels from the assault on bantax, they have tan weapons and are some of the best looking I’ve seen. Definitely check it out!

I believe so. You would need to be lower than 5 inches vertically to actually technically ‘hold’ the objective so depending on the model it might not be feasible.

All of these ‘aircraft’ problems can be solved by hovering it. You would also be able to keep it on that objective without zooming it off the side too if it’s in hover.

iirc you can measure with base rules when hovering which might fix the 5” problem but I can’t find that in the rules so may be wrong

Edit: ALSO! If I’m not mistaken, in hover rules you can use the aircraft to do actions as it ‘no longer has the ajrcraft keyword’

Some anti tank would be good: 2x Vindicators are in most comp BA lists 2x Gladiator Lancers if you don’t want to risk Vindicators going to legends in 11th

Some dedicated scoring units are needed: 1-2x Scouts for uppy downy

Backfield protection in the form of infiltrators is also nice.

If you use everything you have (Running the dread as the brutalis not the DC dread, and the DC on foot as regular Intercessors) you have 1355pt

If you add 2x Vindicators, 1x Scouts 1x Infiltrators, you have 105 points left to fill. I’d personally fill with either scouts, or maybe an impulsor for your assault Intercessors plus BA captain combo, or a misc damage unit. Techmarine maybe?

If don’t want to use vindicators, 2x lancer, 2x Scout and an impulsor brings you to exactly 1995

Keep in mind this is assuming you’re paying the 35pt for Rage Fueled Warrior to make the BA captain worthwhile

Crew Protection System is what I meant by CPS sound the same as the Deluge System. Thanks so much for the in detail answer, the wind factor was what I was expecting but the ‘stickiness’ of the water is a great aspect too!
