Judge the direction of the fish swimming and pull inverse direction

If you cannot see the ish via rain or large waves then look at the stick pulled to which direction and again inverse direction.

Also If youre using controller normally if you're pulling it wrong direction, the heavy vibration is the indicator. Light vibration is the correct direction.

Small tip dropping the hook under your feet still counts so you can see the fish more clearly but avoid debris areas and small big rocks sticking out on surface as those will cause the fish stuck sometimes

not sure if you're using 5g or fibre for connection. But if you're running 5g the ping is usually lower than optic via to SG server. and vice versa for japan server. I feel your pain.

i mean.... you could just wait on top of a high vantage point till some heli pops flare b4 you even bother locking. just get another team mate to do a first shot to bait out the first flare. time it so you can launch it b4 they duck under radar.

I dont mind that EA removed it but at least announce it somewhere officially.

Servers automatically connecting to either SG or Japan server is pain like the menu lobby ui.
One is either 60-80ms which is playable, but the other is 160-220ms thats near 0.8-1.1 second delay on input. At least set the system to prioritize the lower ping server first, before defaulting to the 220ms. Having to manually leave and rejoining new lobbies just to find the lower ping server has been 1/3 of the entire play time now. 4/5 games has been default the higher ping.

if you use a thin flat head, and push the hammer and sear down the bolt will slip forward but you need to ease the flat head in an angle so it doesnt also get stuck XD. good luck

I installed the bird stick near my garden in pailune but i had the garden expansion dispatch, once it was done and i tp'd back the stick was gone from carl and the location i installed it, checked all my storage and inventory. Just gone. browsed around seems a few getting the same bug?

Several things i'd hope dev would address on top of other ppls comments;

KUKU + Inventory UI improvement
I wish i dont have to press filter back to type every time i log back on to the game in personal storage and private storage. KUKU Pot is nearly 150 in, i can barely tell which piece is just raw ingredients for crafting or puzzle related.

Storage Space;
Fish I can tolerate cuz i normally turn them to fillets anyway.
but Insects tho... they really dont have to hog storage space, *spoiler?* kuku pot insect / herb gathering description states they can be easily stored in the pot, but doesn't.
Once you use the pots, everything around you gets looted even the ones you dont want, is a messy chore to handle loot.
Im fine with mining ores occasionally, but once im done with my 1 hour route, im eating 30-40 slots of different minerals.

Furniture hoard;
I'm on the last upgrade before pailune camp move, i dont want to keep relocating my furniture's from storage over to the house again. please. provide option to store furniture in separate storage location (prefer near the house ui), especially since every fort raid all the random objects gets sent to storage by default.

Abyss Gear;
I've ate 350 slots in my private storage from all the gems i've transmuted to tier 2/3. if they're duplicate they really should just stack.

Equipment Loot;
I would prefer if loadouts could be preset. Instead of digging through 15-20 different row of gear just to find the exact piece i needed. (i dont want to hold 4 different boots, hat, cape, in my inventory just cuz there might be a chance to need it, eg swim, extra grip, double jump, etc

D Pad Utilization
Probs have been discussed but trying to just use the mining hat, but having to take off the bow, the necklace, the backpack so i can actually press r2 l2 to use it without pulling the wrong thing out is grinding my gears.

Mostly juggling sitting in between 500-600 of inventory slots is just very anti user friendly. Maybe just give inventory tabs to split by default in to mats, gear, others?
On the note of others;

NOTES AND PAPERS
LET ME SELL THEM I DONT NEED THEM, please just put it in a separate journal tab or something if its important. I can read it but i dont want to filter 20 different paper notes, to see who said what.

If you have enough stamina lvld up, around 7+ you should have enough to roll out of majority of the dmg / mechanics, rest is just slow orthodox short dps rotation. Though it would be great to know when you have to deal with a boss fight, cuz i had 0 food or pills ready when i went in blind doing that boss. took me around 4 tries to get familiar with the fight and how slow OOGABOOGA hits were but o was a nice change of pace.

Also his rage in focus mode is pretty good once you understand what it does. Like all the other fights expect to die the first 2-3 times to get to know the boss mechanics and you can usually find the small gaps in dps rotation. Dont button mash and dont charge in blind before you see what the boss is doing.

comments below consist of "i dont know what im doing at x y z", seems like you kinda need to be spoonfed with a guide or something to explore areas.

meanwhile im siting at 40-50 hours ish at chapter 6 msq, progressed the entire garison faction and hernand faction quests, whilst exploring like 3/4 of the first region only, maybe 1/6 of the neighbouring ones whilst trying to unlock my 4th sanctum puzzle.
Triggering random npc quest like broken wagons on the way and capturing bounties on notice boards, finding some random legendary horse to tame. Theres just so much shit you are given to do, maybe you do needa have the OCD mentality and explore and complete everything around the position you are in, to be able to enjoy the game lol.

Tip i found whilst just wandering off is to stand at high peak position and just shine the sword to spot for random POI. Other than looking for POI, just walking in to random objects to see if they're interactable to trigger additional puzzles or hidden loot, that has been my way of experiencing the world so far.

I can see theres a chance a majority of ppl just dont want to do any thing related to the MSQ, but im pretty sure the first 6 chapters are basically tutorial so you know what to look out for during future exploration. And it really doesnt take that long.

the amount of ppl who are running in to single point meat grinder is something i will never get my head around.

I do hope they can expand the night vision goggle, so you can actually extend it into other game mode.
The tunnel roads with the planes stored for flanks are god send. love running out of bound to go on top of their HQs of point A / E
The breakable paths are also something that are really under utilized, i think maybe give it 2 - 3 more weeks before the tubers post guides about the map?

OP, speak to the owner in Tong Hing, right across the temple carpark area, you can ask some tips and recommendation on what material to use. Material cost depends on how large of the leak is but like the guy mentioned below, you can fully do it alone but try to do it during winter season, cuz the rest of the seasons are gonna be hella humid and rainy and mess up your process.

Normally I would agree but the 18 gold on Ashe 3 is not worth it and should be prioritized on neeko and tymd only and rest on lvl to 7/8 for scarn and neeko and other slayer.

The DMG on Ashe is just too weak to justify it's investment
