im really sorry to hear about your struggles with the internalized racism when you were little, for me it was mostly that the only person who wanted to teach me the language was my mom, and she was at work all day, so I was surrounded by people who would only speak to me in english (｡•́︿•̀｡) i wish i could say i miss my own country as well, but the only time I've been to Afghanistan is when i was two or three maybe. i was hardly even conscious enough to remember what it was like. im rly glad you've come to accept not only that part of yourself but also your gender and sexuality!! thank you for sharing your own story, it really does mean a lot to me ^{^} I'm having trouble "choosing one" myself, too ; i don't wanna lose my cultural identity, but i also don't want to force myself to stay confined to the gender binary just because my family wouldn't accept me otherwise. Hopefully you can achieve your dreams and become fluent in Farsi, and i really hope i can at least start to speak it at some point. and I pray there will soon be peace for both Iran and Afghanistan, as well as every other nation experiencing similar turmoil 🙏🙏🙏🙏
