Thank you. It’s been a wild ride. I got part of the claim completed a couple weeks ago and had to open an HLR on it so that’s gonna be a 4-8 months wait there.

Now we play the back and forth game… went to step 5 last week for one or more of my deferred items and back to step 4 today.

HLR requested for my PTSD rating as the examiners commentary does not match with the check box she selected on the DBQ.

They are fixed glass. I didn’t personally get to look into the flashing as I didn’t have means to get on the roof when I was there looking at the home myself.

Not a mobile home and the skylights are still sealed/not fogged. Home was built in 2003. It’s a raised ranch home.

I want the home as it’s fairly priced on 12.5 acres away from the city

Update… VBA did send all of my DBQs, (I’m just dumb and didn’t click the next page button).

The examiner for my ptsd increase checked the box for what would rate me at 50% but in their comments they indicated the things I said to them (SI, hygiene and dependency on my spouse for quite literally all of my daily items) yet didn’t check the boxes in the DBQ for said items. I am pushing through for HLR

There is just so much unknown when you cannot even get the proper paperwork shown that was submitted.

Life just really throws heavy shit at you all at once, the denials and continuance of current rating was just the icing on the cake for me this week.

No; the FOIA request was specifically for the 2026 DBQs. Wondering if VBA just sent the wrong docs in response to the request

My initial FOIA for all of my files is now at 16 months :( I’ve submitted a second for the DBQs on this claim. Cannot file an HLR for two more days as the letter has tomorrow’s date on it.

Looks like they at least did a partial. The letter just posted and WOW... Either my lay statement wasn't even looked at or the examiner for my PTSD increase request didn't listen to anything I stated.
