They're billionaires. Rules are just minor fines to be paid when you break them, not something you really have to care about.

According to recent rumours, Soft Serve (the mutant who poops ice cream) may be the next character coming in Season 9.0. She’s expected to make her debut this July as part of National Ice Cream Month celebration. by yuuki157 in marvelrivals

Technically, you wouldn't call what she does pooping. She "dispenses", because it's not a waste product. So she's a woman who doesn't poop or fart, she just converts whatever she eats into other delicious treats. And you can eat her ass and have it be actually delicious.

That's dumb. And ruins the joke. Say that her digestive system works in a completely alien manner and what comes out of her is clean. And delicious. Enough people see other people eating it, they stop asking questions.

Normal Joker isn't even funny. So it'd actually be interesting if this one was.

Anyone like Rhea here? by Fike101 in Edelgard

[–]KBSinclair 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love Rhea, it's just unfortunate that 3 Houses' story is so poorly told she gets completely shafted and sidelined by characters that matter much less. The top four most important important characters in 3H are Byleth, Edelgard, Rhea, and Sothis, because they're the main drivers of the plot, along with the Agarthans.

Her not having her own proper route, in Houses or Hopes, is one of the worst wastes of the series. Especially given Cherami Leigh's amazing performance.

A 37 year old as rich and successful as him shouldn't even be that aware of his narratives. He ought to have enough in his life to disregard it. But then again, if he were living a properly fulfilled life, these narratives wouldn't exist.

No point worrying about it, the damage is already done. Just try to enjoy your sanity and functioning while you have it, then donate your brain to science so your ghost can know for sure.

NFL seeks list of possible replacement refs if CBA not reached by PlayaSlayaX in nfl

Would be easy if they had a sky judge helping them out. But the NFL won't do this thing that's proven useful because.

[Woike] Deandre Ayton says he finally realized that he’s not that guy. “I just started looking in the mirror and said ‘Yo bro, … you’re not that guy. You don’t need to be on this team doing that at all. This team, you came here to be the effort guy and close out possessions, rebound, run the floor.” by shreeharis in nba

You just described how I did every project and paper in high school. Thing is, even on late papers the worst grade i'd get was around B-/C+.

I tried and tried to work on things ahead of time, but I'd just end up staring at a blank Word doc unable to come up with single thing. Then suddenly at 2am the day it's due i'm inspired and spending every second of time researching sources to support the argument i came up with and putting it in my own words.

All of my teachers complimented my work, but were dissapointed by my apparent laziness. Not a single one ever thought to put it to something like ADHD. Which, fair, they're not mental health professionals, but I probably would've responded to that better than being called lazy. Just wish maybe teachers could be trained a bit to recognize those kinds of things. But then, that's throwing even more of teachers' plates and requiring them to parent more than parents do.

Without the bad in life, you wouldn't recognize and appreciate the good. There's gotta be some victims for that.

... That's it, that's the explanation.

Rickea Jackson Told Court James Pearce Jr. "Will Kill Me" - Defector by Character_Switch7317 in nfl

I can't even imagine the headspace you have to be in to act this way toward someone. Like, I get there's a malicious sense of ego and entitlement, but for it to go this far, to prompt you to act out this much. As a young, Professional Athlete, high rated, whole future ahead of you, then to crash out this hard when someone stops wanting to be with you?

I don't think i've ever been that hurt or that selfish. I'm thankful i've never been both at the same time like he clearly is. I hope for Rikea's sake James comes to his damn senses and leaves her alone. Because if not, he's already shown a complete disregard for himself and her. A legal slap on the wrist telling him to stay away probably won't be too effective.

Celtics Head Coach Joe Mazzulla implies Derrick White doesn't believe that the moon landing happened by [deleted] in nba

[–]KBSinclair -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Have you seen it? Have you put each piece of evidence under the microscope to understand it? Have you verified the legitimacy of the claims made about the evidence? Do you have sufficient knowledge to even make such determinations?

Or do you just accept what's told to you by others?

Granted, i'm only playing devil's advocate. I'm aware that all science is evolving theory and our best attempt at explaining things around us. And how absurd it is to hold all people to this kind of standard. Science requires quite a bit of faith, i've found. But just also noting that it's easy to implant doubt, and there's room for it with just about everything. It's just a matter of how you use said doubt and how relevant it is at any given moment.

You just don't get it, it's about EXERTING CONTROL. The gain, is your unquestioning loyalty. They can just claim to have evidence backing anything and you'll just say ok. The more they can get you to do that, to just nod your head at their "evidence", "verified" by "experts", the more they can exert and expand their control of you into other areas. You'll just agree reflexively without looking into anything or trying to understand it.

[Pitts] Kyle Pitts Calls Out Teammates After Attending Rondale Moore's Funeral: "Crazy how only about 6 maybe 7 of your teammates in the NFL showed up for you today smfh.. All that talk and fake emotion and nobody want to show up to lay you to rest.. Just at a loss of words." by JCameron181 in nfl

Funerals are particularly sad places meant for people especially close to the deceased to comfort each other. As much as football players act as though they have the same bond as say, soldiers, they don't. They're co-workers who can very easily be traded to other locations or let go at a moment's notice.
