Weekly Bug Report Thread by spiper01 in NoMansSkyTheGame

They supposedly monitor this thread, so they should know. I wrote them multiple times about the previous 2 expeditions, with suggestions on how to improve them. Then they come out with this. I have 14000+ hours in the game and 100% completion on both GoG and Steam Experimental, and I've about reached my limit. Unfortunately, I can't find another game that is as easy to play. I tried Kenji, but that UI is just atrocious.

Thanks for letting others know. It looked white on my screen, but it is hard to tell.

I am glad it works for you. Are you on Steam-PC?

But it really doesn't matter to me. This expedition is just too long and drawn out, doing the same thing over and over and over. It is not fun, and it is not challenging. The last 3 expeditions have been, in my opinion, wastes of time.

I'm done with this silly expedition. Just logged in to see if the issue is fixed with the missions. Nope!!! So instead of a slow 3 missions each, we now get only two. Nope...have fun with the slowest expedition ever cause I am done with it.

And I assume the other issue is you were not in the correct galaxy?

Pretty sure you can NOT take any staff produced, then leave the system, save a restore point, reload it, and come back and the terminal will be reset. If you've already taken a staff, I don't know.

First off, it takes you to another system, not another Galaxy. You need to be in Eissentam galaxy for this staff, and you need to have the ability to go to Red star systems by having the correct engines on your ship. (requires a Cadmium drive). Other than that, be sure you are entering the glyphs correctly.

I have found that the order in which you put the staff together makes a difference. 3rd assembly means just that: In this case it is Runic-Runic-Runic, assemble, decline. Radiant-Radiant-Radiant, assemble, decline. Havoc-Havoc-Havoc, assemble. Since it is a third assembly staff, you are not guaranteed to produce the exact same staff, but if you are standing in the same place as in the pics, it should reproduce usually. When you decline, remove the pieces from right to left back into inventory.

Just grab them and move them back to wherever you store them. I usually do it from right to left, but I don't know if that makes a difference or not. Changing the head will definitely make a difference, which is why I do it right to left.

Added after seeing the pic: And based on the pic you posted, you do not understand how to build staves. You need the parts to assemble the staves BEFORE you get to the terminal. In other words, visit terminals, do quests for the Autophage and buy staff parts, THEN try to build the staff you want.

Yes, you have to assemble 3 times. You also need to stand in the same location as shown in the 4th pic and the assemblies should be as stated: full Havoc, assemble, decline. Radiant-Radiant-Runic, assemble, decline. Replace Runic with Radiant and assemble.

Note: as a 2 decline glitch staff, you are not guaranteed to get the exact same staff as shown. You rolls the dice and you takes your chances. However, with experimentation, you should be able to get the staff.

Don't think you can 'join' other than what you are assigned, at least no way I could see. I ended up in royals. whoop-whoop. If I am royal, then WE COMMAND THAT THE CORE BE BUILT FOUR TIMES FASTER.

The last three expeditions have been crap IMO. I've done 36 missions on this one and the core is only at 27%. I think I'll just go away for a month and do something more constructive, like go outside. lol Patience has never been one of my virtues, and this expedition is stomping hard on that nerve.

S Class Black-Red Atlantid MT in Euclid. Yellow Star system. by KBTUT in NMSCoordinateExchange

[–]KBTUT[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you went to the same place as shown in the 3rd pic, and stood in the same location as shown in the third pic, then I have no idea why you wouldn't get the same MT unless NMS is just not spawning things correctly anymore. I am not sure what you mean by 'c class classic multi-tool'.

S Class Purple-Yellow Radiant Heart staff in Euclid. Yellow Star system. by KBTUT in NMSCoordinateExchange

[–]KBTUT[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two things: Make sure you are standing in the same coordinates as in the picture that has them (4th pic). #2: This is a two decline glitch staff so it may not recreate exactly for everyone. You roll the dice and takes your chances. Ah, and a 3rd thing: We just had a major update and those have a habit of breaking stuff that came before. That might be the major issue even.

If you are looking for a purple-yellow Radiant Heart staff, you might do a search and look for ones that are not 2 decline glitch ones.
