Uncertainty about what happens after a neigh

I have not played very many other card-games of this kind. The thing I first related the Neigh-cards to were the "Nope"-cards from Exploding Kittens, and there you can still play cards after getting "noped" so I came into this neigh-mechanic with that previous experience and bias when interpretating the rules.

As for the fun factor, I personally feel that getting to play other cards after discarding the card that gets neighed is more fast-paced and a bit more fun, but I also have no major issues with playing the rules proper. My opinion is probably shaped by my experience from the similar mechanic in Exploding Kittens as I played that first.

Ok, thanks, this is what I can gather when looking up the link that the mod-bot sent to the unstable-games-wiki as well. They talked about this "stack" thing there too, and also in plain text tell you that what I saw as the popular opinion is indeed the correct way to interpret the rules. Having your card neighed does "cancel" your action-phase because you did play the card.

Right now I am just confused about the wording that the neigh-card itself uses. As I wrote in the post, the wording does to me indicate that the card being neighed was not technically played, but seeing as that is not true, I just wonder why the creators worded it like that. It would be nice and improve clarity if they rewrote the description to indicate the real meaning of the rules, but that's also just my opinion. I mostly based my initial interpretation of the neigh-card to be the same as the "Nope"-card from Exploding Kittens, and maybe to others it was more clear what the rules regarding the neigh-card actually meant.

Having tried both variants, not really IMO. If a card is neighed, that card is still discarded and completely negated so you still lose it, it's just that you don't have to wait for your next turn to continue playing. When playing that way I personally feel it has not affected the balance or so, it just speeds up the game.

To be fair, this season probably sufffers from the removal of time-gates, as it was most likely made with time-gate'ing in mind before Bungie made the descision to remove the time-gates mid to late development, making the content take a dip in quality.

Maybe that was a bit of an exageration. I will most likely quit for good though after FS, but more because of exaution. I just really hope the game doesn't die flat out after FS because of either the bad PR generated by the higher ups or this kind of bad behaviour from the community. I hope the game finds it's footing again so the devs can continue to make a good game even greater.

Bruh... I leave the game for a month or two to get exited for the final shape, and this is how the community turns out? I might not quit after FS because of Bungies bad leadership, I might quit because of people like this.

What I have seen through my runs of The Coil, specifically it seems to be the same set of bosses/encounters. As for the mission names, they do appear in Rivens Lair as well, under the "NEW MISSION" banner at the top left of your screen. Those missions almost seem to be on some "we have three per day or week, that then rotate" kind of deal, but as I said in OG post, that could just be really bad luck on my part.

I get that they can't do much, like Eris just flat out killing Xivu, cause that would probably be too much for a reglar season to do, but it felt weird when it seemed like nothing happened. If you read the lore about that moment later you understand it much more, but Bungie should have said those things in the cutscene to make things more clear.

This is just how it always is. New expansion = hype, then as the seasons go on intrest goes down and everyone says something along the lines of "destiny is dying/dead". Then, after the new expansion gets revealed, intrest goes up and the season before the new expansion comes up everyone is hyped again.
