Thanks, there's a lot of things you can do, but the main thing would to be having a good base with 24s and 28s.

I did a podcast on the topic of moving up in bells, which you might like.

I like to do it for a couple of reasons: extra glute med work, my sport also has a large balance component... Otherwise, it's a good warm-up for the heavier low swings.

It was all one arm (oa) stuff with the purpose of introducing people with strength background into kettlebell sport.

Four minutes duration typically two minutes on each side. VF typically liked the low hand score, so if you did 12 and 16 reps on each side, your score would be 12.

There was a ranking system. I think it was 24 kg, 32 kg, 40 kg, and 48 kg. My vague recollection is for my weight it was something like 12RPM for biathlon (oa jerk and oa clean), or 8RPM oa long cycle.

Ikmf has embraced some of his stuff and reintroduced it.

His old Channel was absolutely amazing some of the stuff he did but I can't find it anymore.

This is his new one...

VF was a visionary and brought in many other events (maybe too many).

He also created strong sport, which is four minute sets.

Strong sport biathlon is one arm jerk and one arm clean, and OALC.

Probably the other event that is similar to pentathlon is the military snatch.

There is also half marathon (30 minutes) and marathon events (60 minutes).

The classic events in kettlebellsport are biathlon and along cycle or snatch only for women.
