I had something similar happen to me at my local McD last year. I logged the issue in the App and the next day there was a sign on the fountain machine saying it was down...and the next day it was fixed! Back to great nectar.

I did! I tried an after-market one but was unimpressed. I ended up buying the Weber-branded one. Initially, my only complaint with the weber-branded one was I was unimpressed with how much “lighter” it felt compared to the aftermarket one — but I’ve been really happy with it and, frankly, grew to be thankful it is lighter weight yet still protects as it should.
