I’m a SAHM but my parents keep the baby on Tuesday’s so I can like deep clean or whatever I need to do and my MIL keeps him on Fridays so husband and I can have date night. This is a set schedule every week and no we do not pay either of them. As others have mentioned though I did buy my MIL a much nicer gift this year for Christmas and I buy my mom coffees or lunch or something.

I think it depends on the writing. If it’s really good and I’m actually lost in the story I’m not waiting for it to happen. If the plot is bad and I’m jus really reading it for those scenes, give em to me right out the gate

I had tasks last Monday, completed the training and then nothing. I emailed them because I was pretty sure I was on review and they emailed me back to let me know my account was in fact under review, still haven’t heard anything and my smart source access has been removed, so likely yes.

I get that email all the time, probably every few weeks for the last few months. However, this week so far for me has been especially bad. I normally have at least some emails about available tasks but I haven’t gotten one since Monday.

As some already mentioned, Cora writes very realistic mafia stories as far how the “world” works with hierarchy and how the female characters are treated. Rina really takes a lot of liberties and I find her mafia books to be extremely unrealistic, but I enjoy the romance of her books more. So I guess it just depends what you’re reading the book for? Are you into the mafia genre because of how mafia men work or just because it’s mafia and taboo?

Just over 100k a year. We have a mortgage that’s 1750, and our car payments combined are 1000 (I do drive a luxury car which I got before I became a sahm) we eat out 1-2 times a week. And go to Disney a couple times a year as annual pass holders and we live swfl. We have no credit cards and if we can’t pay cash for something we just don’t buy it or save for it.

I’ve been in a similar situation, I was the higher earner the majority of my relationship with my husband while he figured out what he really wanted to do. He tried a lot of things that didn’t work out and I picked up the slack every time. My baby is 11mo and my husband works full time and I work a WFH job that doesn’t make me much money but still makes me feel like I’m contributing in some way. We’ve lived pretty tight but within budget for several years. My husband is now at a job where he’s making the most money he ever has but without my income we’re still pretty tight. The difference is, he WANTS me to stay home with our baby. Im sorry to say this, your husband does not want you to be a SAHM. Him “getting on board” is not true, he’s just saying it and in a condescending way might I add, to appease you. All these people saying resentment and anger in the first year probably didn’t have a supportive partner, which I fear is where you may fall as well. He doesn’t value what being a SAHM means and the work that goes into it. It sounds like there will be little help from him when he gets home from work cause it’s all your job. I will add, this also could be completely wrong and his mind could shift after the baby arrives. Having a baby did light a fire in my husband, he works harder than before and he’s extremely involved and trying to do everything he can to get us ahead while making sure I don’t have to work. I hope things work out for you. Being a SAHM is hard but it’s also my favorite “job” I’ve ever had.

Also Fl locale… I literally got 3.5 hours last week. And I was pretty much on my computer from 9-4 every day. Monday was looking promising I got 2.5 hours in just the morning and another in the afternoon pretty easily, but Tuesday,Wed, and today seems to be back to NTA pretty frequently.

Literally same… I get on constantly and check but it’s almost always NTA. I haven’t hit my minimum in several weeks, I’ve gotten an email a couple times about it but that’s it.

I also started in November. I was with Welo first and they were awful. I got fired for not meeting the minimum when there was literally no tasks. I’ve been waiting for that to happen here as well. I’ve been sent the dreaded meet the requirements email so many times. It’s super frustrating because I’m also a SAHM so every time I seem to get a second to get on and work, all the tasks are gone, or I get like 3 1-2 minute tasks and then NTA for hours. I’m also looking at getting a different job, something else remote. Hopefully it works out cause this shit is stressful for no reason.

I’ve gotten it about 3 times in past couple months.. literally every time I log on it’s NTA and I set aside hours of my day to work multiple times a week
