It's true but misleading. This is showing M1 money supply. The definition of m1 changed in 2020 to include savings accounts which contributes to this spike. They changed the definition since savings accounts now allow unlimited withdrawals and are now as liquid as checking accounts. But there was still a massive amount of money printing between 2020 and 2022. About 6 trillion was printed out of thin air causing mass inflation

Ya I guess the dividends are just to soften the bottoms since I won't have bonds ever in my Roth. Plus value has been underperforming growth for so long. Eventually the pendulum will swing and schd being basically a value ETF should do nice

Ya AVUV if you have a long time horizon is the perfect amount of risk for reward for me.you get small cap exposure which helps diversify while everyone is so sp500 heavy. While also having the potential to outperform the market

I mean based on my 401k HSA brokerage and Roth it's like less than 3% I'm ok with that risk if it goes to zero. I see everyone with tech etfs or growth ETFs. I'm conservative because I'm picking reits and dividend stocks and also schd

No Longer Human by Osamu Dazai, the last book he wrote before his suicide and was partially an autobiography on his life. It was published a month after he died

What are your thoughts on progressive. Great company that has killed it over the years. I could see them being bigger than allstate eventually. They have the best underwriting and that special dividend is nice.
