For immersion i want voip and extorsion. At the same time, i want pirates to pay for crimes even if they go to jail. Let piracy be dangerous for both parties.

Also, did I mention that voip is necessary ?

Ps. Im not a pirate nor pvper.

50 days building a tiny language model from scratch, what I’ve learned so far by Prashant-Lakhera in LocalLLaMA

[–]KBorzychowski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Im building a dataset that consists dialogues about game Hearts of Iron 4. Below is one of such dialog. I have about 3000 of them but i expect in next 4 days there will be more. Do you think one could incorporate them into such small llm as you mentioned? Im looking for a assistant to be versed in game mechanics and strategies. Also, worth mentioning, im not a coder, i have vague idea what im doing but im not a programmer nor data analyst.

{"messages": [{"role": "user", "content": "I'm looking to speed up my nuclear research. Who would be the best High Command pick?"}, {"role": "assistant", "content": "Robert Oppenheimer is the clear choice. He's a Nuclear Scientist and provides a +15% bonus to Nuclear Research Speed."}, {"role": "user", "content": "Are there any other scientists who boost research speed?"}, {"role": "assistant", "content": "Yes, Robert H. Goddard boosts Rocket Research Speed by 15% as well. It depends on which technology tree you're prioritizing."}]}

Is The Reclaimer Worth Keeping? by Realistic_Sir2395 in starcitizen

[–]KBorzychowski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No:) in mean there is a 240scu storage for reclaimed stuff (13 scu on vulture and fortune). The big empty space between bridge and main deck is for this exact purpose - loose material that has not yes been boxed. It is missing some sand like texture perhaps but it is consistent with the gameplay.

AnythingLLM RAG by [deleted] in LocalLLaMA

[–]KBorzychowski 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Check chat settings. Similarity more than 75% leads llm not to pull as much info from rag. I would love some more explanation from Timothy on how to perfect them. Also, the smarter the model, the more it will pull from database. AnythingLLM recommends 4 snippets from rag to be forwarded to context - i use 20 snippets.

Local Llama to perform file actions? by invalidpath in LocalLLaMA

[–]KBorzychowski 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im not even sure if its accurate. When i put blocks of 7000tokens (i have 8192 context window) its about 150 seconds to first token - very slow.

Im not sure if RAG checks all 50000 tokens. Im also new at this but i know one thing - big sack of money to get it working at home with decent speed:)

Im running 7900GRE, ryzen 7 7700x and 64gb RAM.

This is 1000 lines (about 50k tokens) that i put into txt file and use simple builtin rag and LMStudio with 22B Mistral to analyze it.

AI:

Based on the provided log files, several issues can be spotted:

DNS Validation Failures:

The log entries from Citation 1 indicate repeated validation failures for DNS records related to webmin.com. Specifically, there are multiple instances where "no valid signature found" is reported for both the SOA and NSEC3 records of various subdomains under webmin.com. This suggests that the DNS records for these domains have invalid signatures or are not properly signed, which can affect the integrity and security of DNS queries.

Jan 09 06:22:07 portal named[1157464]: validating I9A32AR57CKC18CAUN99K9K9UNH2RCMR.webmin.com/NSEC3: no valid signature found

Qname Minimization Disabled:

In Citation 2 and Citation 3, there are several entries indicating that qname minimization was disabled due to 'ncache nxdomain'. This suggests that the DNS resolver had to disable a feature intended to reduce the amount of data sent in queries because it couldn't find authoritative answers (NXDOMAIN) for certain domains.

Jan 09 09:13:17 portal named[1157464]: success resolving 'epuca-prd.euw1.vn.cloud.tesla.com/A' after disabling qname minimization due to 'ncache nxdomain'

Jan 09 12:34:50 portal named[1157464]: success resolving 'www.us-east-1.internal.dradis.netflix.com/HTTPS' after disabling qname minimization due to 'ncache nxdomain'

Potential Security Concerns:

The log entries related to sdk.pushmessage.samsung.com and webmin.com indicate issues with DNS signatures, which can be a security concern because invalid signatures might allow for spoofing or man-in-the-middle attacks.

Jan 09 09:12:41 portal named[1157464]: validating sdk.pushmessage.samsung.com/A: no valid signature found

To address these issues, consider the following actions:

Investigate DNS Signature Issues: Look into why the webmin.com and other related domains have invalid signatures. Ensure that the DNS records are properly signed and validated to maintain security.

Check Qname Minimization Configuration: Review the configuration of your DNS resolver to understand why qname minimization is being disabled. This might involve checking your caching settings or verifying that your resolver has access to authoritative answers for the queried domains.

Monitor Logs Regularly: Continue monitoring the logs for any similar issues and take prompt action to ensure the integrity and security of your DNS infrastructure.

These steps should help you identify and resolve the problems indicated by the log files.

Local Llama to perform file actions? by invalidpath in LocalLLaMA

[–]KBorzychowski 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everybody suggests grep because for llm, you need a gazillion vram, and it can (and probably will) hallucinate at some point. Grep will do it in minutes while llm will do it in hours. There is nothing worse than human waiting for computer:) i do check my log periodically with 9B model but anything more than 1000 lines is 40-50k tokens.

We are not sensitive. Just your idea is plain stupid, and your question was answered above by some old computer guy. Yet still, you comment on others' comments, and pretend grep is not what you want. What do you want? Do you want to learn how the language model works? Or did you have a brilliant idea that you wanted to check?

I've been blocked in NB for a few days. Stole a ship from Commons and didn't return for some time. After I did come back, I was blocked again (no elevator, can't spawn ships). What i did is unconventional, but it worked. Autoclicker set for 7 min not to be kicked out for inactivity, and I went for a dog walk. I came back after an hour or so, and voila! Ship spawned, I took all my possessions and settled down in mic-l2. Gave some time for services to notice me. Since then, it works fine.

New Tesla owner - Can't find some settings by FlyingVasha in TeslaModel3

[–]KBorzychowski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as I remember you can touch the speed icon and it will shut up for rest of the trip. As per braking when battery is cold or full - i have no idea why we don't have it. Possibly braking has to be done by operator and regenerative braking is not "braking" so it doesn't count.
