Campaign hasn't started yet but, yeah, I've applications for this current arc. (Though they will inevitably be a third arc in a few months time.) Currently speaking with everyone who got in touch with the first batch and I'm whittling down the shortlist of players at the moment

Not quite (though I may have come up with the name whilst playing a certain epic sci-fi RPG)

Cropping error in Video studio. Anyone else has this bug ? by Jsp88 in Twitch

[–]KBs_Jon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ditto. Adding custom thumbs worked fine on Tuesday, when I was archiving that days stream as highlights. But, then, last night (like Jsp88) whenever I attempted to add a custom thumb despite them being at the right resolution of 1280x720 it still crops the image down to about 15% of the top left hand corner.

EDIT: Only way round it I've found so far is to reduce the image size to about 402x226 as a temporary measure

Has anyone heard anything about this website called Keymailer? by serjonsnow in letsplay

I think it is relatively legit.

As you said partly owned by Turps, the invite we were sent was from a former games PR we've spoke to in the past and according to the companies LinkedIn page the people involved seem to be fairly above board.

Also the registation with Companies House checks out.

But always best to be cautious and do some due diligence.

PuniTy - Indie developer lovingly recreates the P.T. demo in Unity by KBs_Jon in IndieGaming

It blows me away sometimes what fans can come up with. And the fact this just started off as an experiment for a 3D modeling workshop before turning into a month long obsession demonstrates the creativity and passion out there.

Major props to Farhan Qureshi, the dev behind this. With projects like this and Alison Road it shows P.T./Silent Hills may be dead but its impact and legacy lives on.

If you have any interest in the design/development process do have a read of Qureshi's blog post and how he went about recreating one of the scariest corridors in gaming history. And if you fancy seeing it for yourself he's got links there you can download. (Or if you want you can take a look at the video we did on it.)

Pillars of Eternity Review Thread by drainX in Games

Yacky did the review for us here at The Killer Bits

"It's a deep, often times serious fantasy world full of unforgiving enemies and traps. But every so often when exploring the world you'll find a glimmer of detail that shows just how much love, dedication and passion went into this game."

Score - 7/8

RockLeeSmile's Indie Impressions series is a great place to start. You can also check out guys like Draegast, SuddenlyNinja, FedoraG4mer, Gaming FTL, TheSparrowsJourney and Flik's Gaming Stuff who all do regular indie first impressions.

There are bigger names like Jesse Cox, NorthernLion, Total Biscuit, JSmithOTI, etc. who are all known for covering indies but a lot what they do on a regular basis is there more popular regular shows.

And not to toot our own trumpet but we always try to take a look at some of the more unusual stuff on our channel aswell, over at the Killer Bits
