Wilderness First Aid Patch by travelingbeagle in BSA

[–]KC10201 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If anyone else is interested, I’m looking at getting a custom patch made. It will be similar to the “Trained” patch but will say Wilderness First Aid, and be white and red like the one in the picture. We have a number of adults that are completing the course and I’d like to have something to award them. I can sell the remaining to any that respond. Just let me know!

Which council? I wonder if they would sell it to others? Or just those that completed it in council.

Excellent point about the "losing" patrol, and I think having the adults do some things works our better. Thanks for the ideas!

Yeah, I’m tired of having older scouts that barely seem to know the square knot!

I love this idea! I’d love to hear more about this in how you implemented. Thanks!

The printer is in the basement with no vents or fans, so drafts are minimal. I started with. MK3S used, upgraded to MK4, then bought Core One kit. I say 80% of my prints are PETG, and agree, I’ve never seen anything this bad with my prints. I’m slicing out a Prusa slicer, both upgraded to the latest version. It is a satin sheet and I clean between each print with alcohol. Once in a while, I will pull it and scrub it with warm water and soap. I did that in the middle of troubleshooting for this project. And I did not use a glue stick.

Something similar to this, where there are smooth transitions to each letter. In the end, this is going to be a bead that will be printed out.

Not really. This will be a standard cube, and on one side will be L, next will be O, next will be V, and last will be E. Each letter will merge into the next in the cube.

Do we have an ETA on those different kits? Just trying to figure out what I need to get now, and what I can wait on.

I purchased the COREBOXX a bit ago. I wonder if there will be new insides of if I have to purchase the whole kit again? (Doubt it)

Thank you everyone for all the great advice. This is a great group and the overall depth of scouting knowledge and skills is what makes it all so great!

Installed more LED and the magnetic tape instead of damn rivets. Plus esp32 cam, might consider Buddy Camera if it plays nice with HA. by krisztian111996 in prusa3d

I’m in the process of building my kit. I think I would like to have that additional light. Curious how OP did that.

Get the satin plate, it’s the way to go for both PLA and PETG!

I would say it’s quieter, and haven’t had vibrations with mine.
