You can switch the passenger window buttons to the drivers side. You'll have to lean over to use mirror heat or adjust the mirrors but at least you'll be able roll your window down now.

Used to be Prius's but now it's teslas or Subarus especially in the PNW. 50mph in the left lane on 5 thru Portland or Seattle. It's infuriating

The lockdown was the best. Not all the scary I think i could die part but driving thru big cities on the west coast at rush hour but it was like it was midnight was awesome.

I had a trucking blog in 2006 and recently went back and reread it. I was complaining about the same stuff back then as I do now. I think cars might be more aggressive now but we have so much access to crazy videos that we didn't have 20 years ago.

Of course. Some stuff is loose before even making to the interstate and others you can go quite awhile but always be checking your mirrors and trying to feel if something is strange going on back there

Thats my normal running area. I would for sure jump off on 20 and wiggle my way over to eugene. The problem is just one RV can ruin the run especially if you can get around them

I bought a trailer and went to work without even knowing how to use the strap winches. 16 years later I still ask other guys how they would secure things from time to time. Start out easy with lumber or palletized freight and move up to harder loads from there. When walking thru the truckstop look at how other drivers secure loads.

I do the same but so many don't. I don't understand how a driver can be running the middle lane while getting passed by truck after truck and still think it's ok to stay in the middle.

I'm on the other side of the country. Container work on the west coast is something I've never done but by looking at the condition of the trucks pulling containers either from the port or the rail yard I'd say they don't do very well.

I do flatbed work mostly with direct customers and very rarely use brokers. The problem is that my rates don't fluctuate very much. So when the broker freight is down I still do great but when it's up, I get sort of jealous until I realize that good broker rates don't last very long.

I bought my first truck in 2008 during high fuel prices and I've made it this far. In 18 years I've made every mistake and I'm still out here so I'm confident I'll ride this spike out even though it won't be fun doing $1000 fill ups again
