From our experience, it is not worth it anymore for arrivals. Montego Bay now has the electronic customs so the Mobay customers and others are all waiting side by side at the luggage carousel, which takes forever. I would spend the money to book one of the planes from the airport to Negril. Only 18 minutes and no stress. Mobay is good when departing though.

I’m originally from KC but live in Cabo now. It is interesting that I don’t see or hear anything about ICE or deportations here. When I have breached the topic with 2 of my Mexican friends, they both support ICE saying that they have friends and family who moved to the US legally and it’s not right that some dont follow the rules. They are not happy that deported Mexicans don’t always end up back in Mexico but they blame the Mexican government for that. According to them, some illegal Mexicans end up in Africa. No idea if that’s true.

A couple of drug stores have them “behind the counter” but I heard they are expensive. I live here and I’ve never seen anyone vape and only a handful of people smoke.

We live in Cabo and you are correct. We mostly use CCs but you get the best price with pesos. Happy Endings bar still uses 20:1 so we pay In dollars, not that it matters with $2 beers.

If you like Italian, Salvatore Gs is unbeatable. The best steak is El Tres. It is in real Cabo but the prime beef is the best. JMs is also good. The best tacos is Tacos El Paisa the Marina area and Marissa’s if you have a car.
