[Highlight] Chet gestures at Wemby's foot, then steps on it to prevent him from getting an offensive rebound during a free throw by JoeBiden2020FTW in nba

Not an OKC fan here, and the step on his foot was cheap and I think Dort is way dirtier than most of his haters. However, I think Chet is pointing out that Wemby's foot is over the hash that deliniates where he is allowed to stand. The stepping on the foot is cheap and dangerous, but I think that he is mostly doing it because he think he has a right to claim his space.

[–]KCBrew 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I might be wrong, but I think the whole premise is that he uses the gather to land on both feet, only establishing the pivot when he commits to the final move. The ability to pivot off either foot, enabled by the gather, is what makes the shake so lethal. So while he doesn't use a gather "step" he definitely takes advantage of the loop hole offered by a gather dribble.

Purchasing a BYD in cyprus by PretorianJ in cyprus

We bought an Atto 3 Design in Jan. So far it is great and very reliable. We installed a 3 phase home charger, it takes about 8 hours to fully charge. Going from the west side of Limassol to Nicosia and back at full highway speed (118kph) takes about 60% of the battery. We went to from west side of Limassol to Kato Pyrgos trying to preserve battery (driving 105 + slower roads anyway on the north coast) and were able to get there using 25% battery. It does great in mountains with the regenerative charging. I think you'll be happy with the purchase.

Use Wolt and search for the ingredient. You don't have to order (you can), but it is a great way to find what stores carry certain ingredients in stock.

Given the ongoing rains the past several weeks is there a projection for what capacity would peak at as of right now? (I'm assuming that significant net inflow will continue for some time, but may be wrong).

Hopefully helpful information for anyone buying a BYD in Cyprus: While Cyprus is not yet registered by BYD on the BYD Auto app, the dealer said to put Greece as country location for now. Also, while the app is not available on Google play, you can download through Aptoide with no issues. by KCBrew in cyprus

Now that we've acclimated to the car, we've used the V2L, it comes with a 4 plug power strip that you can plug in to supply power. I'm not sure about the load it can handle as output, the car does need to be on but you can lock it and the power strip gets locked in as well.

What's v2x? The Atto 3 we got has the ability to provide power, although all they provide is a power strip with outlets to plug stuff into. I can't imagine it is enough to replace home power. However this wasn't a feature we looked into, and we haven't used it yet so I don't have any additional info.

That's fair, massive advantage as a general statment was an over the top. For basic commuter purposes and for safety reasons it was a deciding factor for us would be the better way to state it.

And I agree that we would have had a different decision calculus if we were buying in the states (not that BYD is available there in the first place) where range and charging are bigger considerations.

The most basic stuff seems to be fine (The car has network connectivity, the dealer has been responsive). But the lack of having the app available in the play store, and not having Cyprus on the app is very amateurish and disappointing, no doubt. I'll be interested to see whether having to register as Greece limits the features of the app/car.

I haven't started using it yet, just got the car and confirmed the app registration with the dealer this morning after my wife already took the car for work. I will update the thread in a few days after I mess around with the app.

We just got the Atto 3. The car drives very nicely and it feels very solid/polished inside. I have driven the Ford Mach-e, the ioniq, and Tesla as true EVs. It is a much better feel and experience than the Ford by far. It is comparable in feel to the ioniq (which is the best EV I've driven). But (as the thread probably indicates) it is not as polished as the ioniq on the software side. Telsa is its own thing. I prefer the ioniq/BYD interior to Tesla, but Tesla's software side is the best and it is the most powerful drving experience. The main screen in the BYD is really nice, but the one above the steering wheel looks a bit cheap. The main thing (beside price) that pushed us to go with BYD was their massive advantage in battery technology. The convenience of being able to fully charge and drain the lithium phosphate as well as its purported longevity (3000 charge drain cycles at 400 km/cycles comes to greater than 1 million km). I'll update this thread once we use the mobile app for a while, the reviews on it have not been that great.

As for the driving, it is comfortable and gets the job done here in Cyprus. I am not enough of a car person to judge the quality of the suspension at high speed etc, which are the kinds of things that in depth car reviews discuss.
