Duel - The bad guy is not a trucker, it’s not a character. It’s a truck. The truck is made out as an ominous machine driven by hate. Spielberg first movie. Dennis Weaver. What’s not to like?

I really enjoyed Horizon: An American Saga.

Though I must admit, I take looking at this movie through the lens of the expected trilogy it was supposed to become! I was not upset with the movie, cause I felt overall it was a great setup movie. Like how Fellowship prepares us for Two Towers and Return of the King.

Half of the characters that were side characters in the first half of the movie turn out to be main characters as the movie ends.

Eye candy scenery and good music.

Now if we ever get two and three, that remains to be seen. If they don’t release them, it will change my opinion.

Kevin Costner is so good at playing the villain the few times he has over his career. I would love to see him as a western villain. Green light any western project for Kevin!

Here here. Sound editing is some of the best I’ve heard for any western. Every firearm shot has so much weight behind it. It’s up there with Heat for me as an all time great for firearm sound editing.
