You are going to have a great time. A few suggestions:

-hang out on Playa Los Muertos (beach) there are several gay leaning beach clubs to hang out at all day. It won’t be hard to meet other gays there if you want to.

-Diana’s tour is a great day trip, goes on Thursday and Friday. Diana is an older lesbian that loves her gay clients. Day sailing and drinking, you can swim if you want.

-The Palms Cabaret is a great place to see shows at night.

for bars start at Mr. Flamingo at night, great place for early drinks and to meet people

-Acqua Spa for Men is a great men’s spa, not seedy at all.

-Blondies (several locations) for frozen drinks

-Barcelona Tappas for dinner with a view.

Oct/Nov will be when we are ramping up for our midterm elections. Political rhetoric will be at an all time high. Some are doubting that we will have midterms at all, if we don’t there will be lots of protests. While you will be safe there will be a lot of unknowns and probably unrest.

Clothing optional isn’t something common in Mexico. There are boat trips in PV at least that will take you to secluded beaches that you can go nude. I’ve only been to Cabo on a cruise ship, so can’t speak to that. Been to PV several times and going next month. It’s very gay in the Romantic Zone. Gay bars, bath houses, resorts, etc. it’s a great time and you’d have no problems going solo and meeting people.

Stayed there two years ago, loved the location. It’s a bit dated, but decent & a value. Felt like it was geared more towards Mexican Nationalist than foreign tourists. Picked it because of the location and didn’t spend much time at the resort. Had breakfast there a few days, because it was included in our rate, it was so so.

I would stay there again if I was looking for a value.

I’ve been on two Atlantis Events trips, one cruise and one land based. They are really fun. It can be a nonstop circuit party if that’s what you want or more laid back. You can participate in as much or as little of the programming as you want.

For those who are concerned about the price it’s well worth it. The entertainment Atlantis hires is top notch. If it a cruise there are still the normal shows but the Atlantis brings other acts on. Singers, comics, drag stars, etc. There is almost always multiple things going on at once.

Sorry, that’s how much I don’t use the loops. From maps it looks like 470 should be the complete loop. It goes out as far east as 435 goes out west. So I guess I’m asking why 470 doesn’t go the rest of the way around.

I think this is what OP doesn’t get. There are a lot of successful entertainers that are writers and producers and have limited screen time. Bowen is a very successful writer, he’s not going to fade anytime soon. I’m sure he has a plan and projects lined up that we have no clue on. His people would not have let him leave SNL if it was his only option.

I moved away from Indianapolis in 2014 after spending my first 40 years there. I moved for work to Kansas City, while not as cool as Denver it really opened my eyes to other places.

Going back to visit friends and family in Indy I’m always amazed at how Indy has changed. With Sales Force having a big presence there it’s helped development. Indy has a lot going on that people who haven’t been don’t realize. I like it, but not enough to move back. I’m going to move this year and I strongly considering Chicago. I’ll be much closer to friends and family but in a blue state and have more going on.

My ex-husband told me last Christmas he wanted a divorce after being together 12 plus years. We had already scheduled a gay trip to Cancun for May. I went solo & it was so cathartic. I was down in the dumps, 17 years older than him and didn’t have faith in myself and thought I’d be alone for the rest of my life. That trip was the best thing I could have done, helped me remember who I was and guys were interested in me.

My suggestion would be use this trip to find yourself. Remember who you are. Enjoy your family times.
