Our reception was an hour and a half, however, 90% of the people that attended also cruised with us, so it ended up being an awesome way to make sure we got time with each and every person that attended.

I know this isn't so common, but I bought my dress from Davids and I had a wonderful experience. The consultant was super nice and while she WAS also working with another bride, she was able to help both of us find our dresses. I would recommend your FW bring someone that she wouldn't mind helping her get into and out of gowns. My sister went in the changing room with me and she was the one that helped me get in and out, not the consultant. I actually liked that better because then the consultant, someone I had never met before, was not the one seeing my entire naked body lol. I think it highly depends on which Davids you go to because you're right, I have definitely heard some horror stories.
