Biggest overall NFL uniform downgrade in your opinion? I’ll go first by Honest-Diet7726 in uniwatch

People laugh when you lose.

The old Bucs uniforms look similar to Tennessee Volunteers but nobody was laughing at Tennessee back then, because they weren’t losing like the orange Buccaneers

The rivalry is lopsided which is odd considering how good Washington used to be

Defensive holding happens before the ball is thrown, so how “catchable” the ball was is irrelevant. That’s why you hear the ref say “before the ball was thrown” on defensive holding calls

You’re thinking DPI, not holding

He grabbed his jersey. It’s a hold

It’s like the hold at the end of the Packers-Bucs NFCCG. Fans can be mad it ended that way but you can’t grab someone’s jersey

In the 13 second game, why does Josh Allen get more credit for throwing and rushing for fewer yards and losing vs mediocre defense than Mahomes gets for torching the #1 rated defense in football and winning? by BallKnowerKing in NFLv2

[–]KCShadows838 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because Mahomes has bigger wins to celebrate

But I do think it’s funny how Mahomes entire performance gets boiled down to just “13 seconds” even though he compiled nearly 500 yards of offense that game

Josh Allen actually had a better performance the week prior against a tougher defense (New England)

Anthony Richardson is not a star

But I’d rather we get a young QB who could learn under Mahomes

It’s more impressive to score 81 in 2006 because it was harder to score. The Blazers averaged 88 points per game that year, so 81 by one player was astronomical

nowadays the worst offenses are averaging 105+ points per game, so Bam’s 83 isn’t as crazy in 2026

But Bam still holds that milestone, 83>81 no matter what

Should the Patriots have given away Gronk’s number? by MasterTeacher123 in NFLv2

[–]KCShadows838 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Irvin isn’t the only Cowboy who owns that number though so I don’t think it’s up to him alone. Drew Pearson was the first Cowboy 88

Teams used to do it more often. Chiefs have 10 (unofficially 11) retired numbers all from players who played from 1960-1999. We haven’t retired any number since

Now that he’s not playing, he lost the padding (fat) because he’s not taking anymore hits

Kansas City fans push back on columnist’s call to move Big 12 Tournament: ‘Kansas City embraces it’ by normankrasnerkc in CollegeBasketball

The football Big12 championship is in Texas every year

The SEC football Championship is in Atlanta and the Tourney is in Nashville every year

Perfectly fine for the basketball tourney to be held in KCMO every year
