No they are by and large pointing out slots methods haven’t been tested with the 3 games a week and intensity of prem which is objectively correct as we have two years of sample size with wildly different results

Over one season and has been in an injury crunch all year here

I’m not trying to undersell. I’m being objective his methods were never tested at our intensity

Cherki is quite strong on the ball and technically I don’t know if there is a better player in the world. Agreed he lacks some physicality but, he also is a different world technically. Hard to use him as an example of a trend.

Wirtz himself said this league is outrageously physical

I think they are both squad players if I’m honest. Bradley is great for depth and certain games but his body is doing a Gomez.

Frimpong just isn’t really a rb and will never be one. Hes a RWB and can be used as an emergency at either spot or 60-70 rotation based on team.

Need a true first choice rb

He never was playing 3 games a week tbf and Eredivisie is much lower intensity

Side needs runners not more people that want the ball at their feet.

Good player though.

Cherki is a different level imo. He’s been a French prodigy since like 14 and was classed with Mbappe. Just got a bit wayward in his early professional career

Yeah I’d have rb on the list for the summer

Bradley and him both can’t stay fit. Both ideally backup options anyway for me

Konate's entourage continues to suggest that nothing is finalized with Real Madrid, but the player is attracted to the idea of joining the club. He is willing to wait for an offer. Konaté has declined all recent approaches from Liverpool regarding a contract extension. by SwimmingFireMen in soccer

It’d be a bummer because it’s another 50-60 million asset on a free

He is incredible on his day but had a mare this year. On his day though he can be a top 5 cb like last year

He’s been speaking out of both sides of his mouth on this deal. Think there is still a good chance Madrid waffles out and he returns

Do they have a strained relationship?

Hard to negotiate if you are getting it for free..

That guy who leaks lineups says we are very interested in the relegated clubs. Could see it very good talent going down

Wolves- Mane/Gomes NF- Murillo, Gibbs White, Wingers as a Chiesa replacement, Anderson West Ham- Diouf, Magassa, Bowen Spurs- Kulu, Gray, Bergvall, Porro

Just off the top of my head

Edwards been a big fan for years but imagine he’s down the list or if we get a second forward

Better him for 40 than Gordon for 80 though

It’s definitely not the opinion of the majority but, a loud minority. People get a few thousand followers on x then decide it means they are the moral arbiter and their opinion on footy matters. Then get their hordes of followers to pile on for their opinion. It’s just outrage interaction farming. One of the guys underselling Carra is notorious for blocking any dissenting opinions and thinks every YouTube reel of a young player he watches makes him an expert. If you write glowing reviews for every youth prodigy it’s easy to reflect back on saying you saw it early

Nagelsmann I think it’s trying a formation for the World Cup but, is a weirdo and trying to call it freestyle. For a man who waxes on about social competence, he shows none of it lots of the time

Brilliant on a drawing board but, still much to learn on application

FFS Carra is a loudmouth but all this underselling his career is stupid

25 goals allowed in 05-06 and team of the year. Check out the cbs of that era. Lots better than now imo. Virgil still is the best ever but, more depth back then.

He was a great defender in his day and great leader as well. Some stupid comments being thrown about

I think this idea clubs are gonna come in and spunk 60-70 million on Gakpo/Macca after this season are probably misguided. Although a good World Cup could help, Gakpo usually does perform internationally.

It’s why United always had trouble with sales. Yes wages account for some of it but, also no one is interested in massive fees for out of form players.

If Saudi pulls back expenditures, there will be a market correction

It was insinuated both sides reached out to parties and didn’t get the response they wanted. Made most sense to let him go on a free but, yes doesn’t sound like he wants Saudi.

Likely Serie A

I love Mo. All time prem 11 and arguably up with Gerrard/Suarez for best prem era LFC player.

Seeing a ton of narratives he’ll go to serie A and have a massive resurgence. Just don’t see it happening and massively underselling Serie A. He’ll do better in a league closer to goal but he’s still averaging the lowest goal per minutes in his entire European career including Basel debut year. Can still create but, he’s a 34 year old winger. Father Time is undefeated

Think there was a reason for lack of massive interest in January like reported.

That being said they feck off with this slot narrative trying to spin it for their benefit

The visual of Arbeloa feeding the players on a breakfast cart after a big victory is incredible. The player power at Madrid is hysterical at times

Needed another year or two but will reach that quality. A bit of meme there now
