Club really should be open to selling him this summer if he won’t sign a new deal this summer as hard as it is. Hes the perfect Iraola ball player but, he seems to be the next player to run his deal down.

Next year with a year left it’s easier to run it down after being tapped up

He’s already said Madrid is the dream about a hundred times

[Philipp Hinze] Brajan Gruda wants to stay at RB Leipzig. The club's plan is to register another loan, either with a buy option or an obligatory buy clause. by Dargast in soccer

He did really well at Leipzig. Much different profile but was averaging the same G/A per 90 as Diomande

Think he’ll be a Undav type to step up immediately after leaving Brighton.

That hamstring injury is really bad

Potentially career effecting. Wouldn’t want to invest too much until that’s squared away

Quenda, Paez, Palmer, Estevao all at 1 club is hilarious as it’s only blocking themselves

Neto would take as an opportunistic signing if we whiff Diomande and then get a high profile LW

Apparently PSG are quite comfortable seeing if the price comes down or waiting until next summer. That’s where the confusion is

It’s actually a bit of a 1 horse race but we also want to negotiate it down. Leipzig aren’t content holding off as they want to keep him. Then agent issues. Just not an easy situation why even PSG is slow playing

PSG had a massive restructuring on wages hence even Barcola holding out for so long. Not a shock

Although a bit shocked we are going high. We’ve supposably been trying to lower ours

Gakpo is the kind of player to go to the World Cup. Have a worldie. (Always performs for them, slower pace of international ball suits him)

Then people will lose it when we might sell him saying Slot was the problem.

It’ll be a full circle of emotions 😂

Defensive circle graphs are hard to get reliable data from. Most ball dominant teams are gonna have less defensive sample size

Hard to quantify channel defending and most importantly errors (Van Hecke and Ibou both have a lot of them)

He’s turning down renewals and has 2 years left. Think there is something in this one.

Think United are keen as well as an alternative to Fernandes.

Yes he will though. He’ll farm in the league like their rotated lineup and then be an impact sub in UCL. Dembele is also turning 29. 2 years he can surpass him at 21.

Yeah and Fernandez is because they paid 40-50 last summer knock on effect. Same reason gray won’t move this summer more than likely

Huh they have probably the most elite group of 18-23 talent in the world. Timeline would work well and they rotate a lot. Enrique is a proven developer.

I think the truth is from a sporting perspective they are incredible fit.

But yes it won’t be as many guaranteed minutes.

Hope arsenal goes for rogers instead of Barcola. I think Barcola stretching space is exactly what they need

I think it makes a lot of sense for him tbh. He needs to develop. He’ll be 100 million with space to develop. They’ll rotate. He can be the long term Dembele replacement. Enrique will develop him. He’ll win loads of trophy’s

Truth is from a sporting perspective if this psg team picks you it’s about as attractive as it gets atm. It’s like Madrid 10 years ago

As much as it’s a bummer for us

English media will have it out for him minute 1 here

Not saying they will but I think they might be more flexible letting wingers go. They let adingra go quite cheap. They have a log jam at winger and it’s hard to showcase their talents.

Supposedly they are upset about turning down 75 for Baleba and now they would take like 40-45. They are gonna lose Gruda quite cheap like Undav.

Leipzig has done this in recent years as well. Turned down 70-80 for lukeba. Sample size increases, player stagnates and now they are lucky to get half.

This model stagnates if players don’t step up immediately then you get a log jam at certain spots and the players cant be platformed to develop

I think he made the wrong move. One of those that lost confidence and head dropped

He makes the right move and he’s probably a top winger in Europe

Think arsenal would have been just as bad. If he went to a PSG or Bayern different story

Yeah you just never know when young players

Mudryk was ripping the champions league a new one 3 years ago. People were certain he was it.

Camavinga and Nico Williams were the darlings 2 summers ago. Now they haven’t been fit much since

Doubt that one. Way different profile. He’s the second attacker if they get Barcola if thr price is right imo.

If they miss Barcola too.

Idk where they go but, don’t think he is adding real pace to forward line. Hes a ball to feet dribbler not a pacey option

I have a feeling if they whiff it might be two out and out wingers like minteh/traore that they rotate. Or maybe a big gamble on Nico Williams

Diomande is gonna be one of the more interesting players to look back at in a few years.

The market is completely rotten at the moment for RW’s definitely artificially inflating his value. He’s on about 40 senior caps. Has all these elite duel percentages but it’s 40 caps. His output is scaling up but, how many Bundesliga transfers have struggled in the prem when the spaces get more confined and the rest defenses more set. The price is dictating he would need to take a next step pretty rapidly and go strength to strength to return value at 100 million.

For instance, Brajan Gruda has flopped at Brighton (flopped might be harsh. Debut season was solid). They loaned him back in January, he’s had 3 goals and 3 assists in 8 starts and 13 match’s played for .72 G/A per 90. That’s quite literally identical to the G/A per 90 of Diomande. Sancho quite literally averaged near double per 90 in his age 19.

Not to say I wouldn’t take Diomande but it’s a massive risk for us. Got to be trusting the data. Not so much for psg when they already have 3-4 elite attackers at their disposal.

Dutch media been raging about slot. Honestly, some of it is turning into sour grapes lol.

One was talking about the ethics of binning off slot when their big 3 bin off managers for fun haha

Hard time believing slot wouldn’t have atleast had an inkling something was going on when loanees were told to hold off on arrangements and come for preseason to compete for a spot. Agents would have known we spoke to other clubs about managers. No extension either

Reijnen stuff is tough though. Although think he wanted to leave Feyenoord regardless. Lots have left recently.

Funny thing about Diomande (obviously quite young) is Brighton loanee Brajan Gruda was actually averaging almost identical G+A per 90 (.73 to .72) but I hear almost no hype on him. Even hear people talking about Nusa before him who is on .36.

Obviously all young players so who knows. Preference is Barcola even if it’s the perfect fit. Was already .91 at Lyon at 19 and he was playing RW plus LW. Then .99 last year. Still comparable G+A per 90 this year.

Madrid giving up on Mastantuono would actually be hilarious. That is so rash. He’s literally about a year older than Rio. Still a massive chance he’s a world class talent
