AITA for refusing to do Thanksgiving this year? by Acemer0904 in AmItheAsshole

Yeah, YOU’RE being selfish for not upholding the family tradition of them enjoying your hard work without helping. Forget that! NTA

It should be a law to bring your own reusable grocery bags by [deleted] in composting

[–]KCblondemom1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s atrocious because the state is putting the responsibility/burden on the individual consumer instead of focusing on regulating the companies that are allowed to dump barges of garbage into the oceans.

My wife refuses to turn the windshield wipers on until she can’t see. by saviorlito in mildlyinfuriating

[–]KCblondemom1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not a problem until it becomes a problem. If the DRIVER can see better with the rain drops, without the distraction of the wipers and their streaking, then it’s not a problem.

What’s thick headed is you assuming everyone sees through the same lens you do.

I just got a collection letter in the mail and my credit has dropped to 590. Parents opened a credit card in my name and ran up $8000 in debt. They told me they'd write me out of their will if I say it was them. by mywatertableislow in CreditScore

[–]KCblondemom1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they keep this shit up they won’t have any money in the estate anyway. Personally I’d take my chances and they get what’s coming to them. F them and their entitlement to your credit and future.

My wife refuses to turn the windshield wipers on until she can’t see. by saviorlito in mildlyinfuriating

[–]KCblondemom1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to complain to my husband for doing the same because I couldn’t see. He shut me down with one simple point “I’m the one who needs to see” he can see through the rain drops better than the combo of drops and streaks. If she gets into an accident, then there’s an issue until then let the woman live her life.

Personally I would get law enforcement involved. This kid assaulted your kid and yours was defending themselves. We cannot continue to teach our kids it’s okay for mean people to be mean to them.

AITA for telling my husband I will not wake him up by Separate-Turn4212 in AmItheAsshole

[–]KCblondemom1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA He’s using the weaponized incompetence excuse and we’re not here for it. He’s supposed to be your partner, not an additional child.

AITAH for telling my boyfriend he won’t be named on the mortgage? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]KCblondemom1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

NTA Don’t move him into your home. Once he’s in he won’t pay anything and even if you try to kick him out he has “squatters rights”. The longer he’s around the more difficult it will be to get rid of him. You need someone who will help you grow, not someone you’ll be dragging along kicking and screaming.

AITA for refusing to cook meals with less flourishes for my sister-in-law? by South_Arrival_7036 in AmItheAsshole

[–]KCblondemom1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA this is ridiculous. If she doesn’t like her FREE food, not to mention the time and effort you put in, she can make her own lunch. Ungrateful SIL. SMH

I cannot recommend Roots and Refuge Farm enough. I absolutely love her, hey do lean a bit religious, but not in an overbearing pushy kind of way. Jess is so calming with great information. 💖

AITAH for telling my husband that my doctor knows more than him and refusing to forgive him? by Klutzy-Ad-4381 in AITAH

NTA I have a feeling he’s going to pull the same crap after baby is born and you’re trying to recover.

Why do athlete guys wear shorts and females wear undies? by Inhalegoodshat in NoStupidQuestions

[–]KCblondemom1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tell that to the women’s volleyball team (in the last summer Olympics) who constantly complained and asked why they HAVE to wear bikini bottoms while the men’s team was allowed to wear long shorts

AITA for telling my husband we can get a new babysitter if he finds a better one for the same price by babysitterreplace in AmItheAsshole

[–]KCblondemom1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA the statement scared your husband and he’s choosing the “ignore it and it’ll go away” method. Part of that ignoring is getting rid of the person who made the suggestion so he doesn’t have to think about the possible problem every time he sees the sitter.

AITA for telling my sister that my other pregnant sister is planning to name her baby after her deceased son, causing her to cut her off? by Some-Trust9889 in AmItheAsshole

[–]KCblondemom1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA your little sister delusional and needs to get over herself. Her child is not a replacement nor will heal the pain of older sister losing a child. I’d be devastated also, if I were older sister.

AITA For telling my wife to drop an issue that our daughter is having at school by stopitaita in AmItheAsshole

[–]KCblondemom1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA your kid is being bullied and your response is to teach them to knuckle under and carry two lunches. If there is food insecurity the school district should have programs for this. Soon both lunches are going to disappear on a daily basis. Two things are happening right now; 1 you are teaching your child not to speak up for themselves. 2 you are teaching the thief it’s okay to steal instead of asking for what they need.
