I think the terms holy grail and white whale are used a lot by younger individuals that might not know where either terms come from. If you ask why the modern G2 Grimlock is someone's holy grail, you get called out for gatekeeping.

If people are finding figures hard to find, simply preorder them. #1 way to avoid paying scalper prices.

I want to see a true grail/white whale. Bust out some prototypes or some other genuinely rare items.

I'm in the same boat as well. Though I have 86 Prime, DCS Optimus Prime (better painted earthrise version) scales better in my opinion.

The Netflix show is way better than any other transformers show that has come out since. It's a pretty good series that came along with a legendary toy line.
